We want this to be a conversation not a lecture so we would love to hear your feedback and your hopes for where the conversation will go over the next few months. This discussion was the first in a 6 part series. We will meet monthly for the next 6 months to have conversation about solving homeless in Lancaster. We are stronger together!

🔥 CODE RED: Severe Weather Alert for Lancaster County🔥

A Code Red has been issued for Wednesday, July 1 at 12:00 PM through Saturday, July 4 at 8:00 PM due to an excessive heat advisory.

🌡️ Extreme heat can be life-threatening—especially for those without access to cooling or shelter. During this time we ask all residents to check on neighbors, stay hydrated, and limit outdoor activity.

6/29/26 - The Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition Network has been notified of the alert. As we receive updates from our partners on resources, we will update the information in this post to provide the latest available cooling and water stations.

Today we’re celebrating something really important.

5 men who were recently experiencing homelessness have officially moved into a home through a Hand Up Partners housing initiative. ❤️

For many people, things like towels, bedding, cookware, cleaning supplies, and basic household items are things we don’t think twice about — but when someone is starting over from nothing, those items matter deeply.

We’re asking our community to help us turn this house into a home.

We created an Amazon wishlist with basic household needs for the guys as they begin this next chapter of stability and independence. Every single item donated helps create dignity, comfort, and a stronger foundation moving forward.
