Ask yourself something this week: When was the last time Jesus changed your mind about something? Not simply encouraged you, but corrected an attitude, interrupted a habit, challenged a relationship, or asked you to obey when you would have preferred your own way!
Knowing Jesus means giving Him permission to keep changing you.

Twenty years of faithfulness did not create a museum to the past. It created more room for people who are still on their way.
So enjoy the new space, thank God for every inch of it, and then go fill it with people!

Try something different today... Before checking for an update on what you have been praying about, thank God for three things that are true right now. Let gratitude interrupt the cycle of worry!
A hard Monday does not erase what God started on Sunday. Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is no condemnation in Christ, which means even in the anxiety, doubt, or waiting, God is still working toward redemption.
Paul prays in Ephesians 3:20 to the God who is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” That is a fascinating promise because imagination usually gets built from experience, while God is not limited by either one.
So take some time this week and remember what God has already done, then leave a little blank space after the story. Pray about the next generation. Invest in somebody younger! If God has already surprised you with what He can do over twenty years, it might be a little early to start acting like you have seen everything.
Genesis opens with darkness, emptiness, and a world without form, and God begins speaking until what was chaotic has purpose, boundaries, and life.
He still works that way!
When your thoughts feel scattered, your home feels unsettled, your plans have fallen apart, or life simply does not look the way you expected, resist the urge to control everything at once. Start by asking, “God, what needs to come into order first?”
