The lawn and garden are absolutely loving this rain! We've had 2 inches so far and it looks like more is on the way. Bill spread yesterday to stay on track with the Memorial Day fertilization schedule for our zoysia lawn and fertilized the garden as well.

2026 spring aerification completed. Took my time this year and did it slowly over a 10 day period. Cores used to fill in my always thin shaded edges. Now we wait for warmer weather and sunshine to get back to 100%. golf

Here's a BEFORE and AFTER from last June 2025 zoysia plugging project. Bill used the ProPlugger to transplant plugs from our existing lawn into a bare area.
✅ By September: Mostly filled in!
✅ Now: Completely filled in, despite drought & early spring dormancy!

Welcome May! We're thankful for the April shower yesterday! The roses have been beautiful this past month and we're excited for many more flowers to boom in May!
