High Steel Structures is one of the largest structural steel fabricators in North America.
High Steel fabricates a wide range of structural steel bridge components and offers supplemental fabrication services of heavy building girders and weldments to a variety of industries. The company's four fabrication facilities, located in Lancaster and Williamsport, Pennsylvania, are centrally located to major market areas and include complete blast and sophisticated paint operations.

High Steel Structures Sales Manager Dave Buckwalter has retired after 55 years of service. Dave holds the distinction of being the High Companies' longest-tenured full-time employee.
Dave began his High Steel journey in 1971, as a Fitter. Over the years, Dave's career led him to roles in engineering, CADD, and marketing. In 2002, Dave was promoted to Sales Manager. From the shop floor to more than two decades of sales excellence, Dave's career journey reflects his deep commitment to High Steel and the customers we serve.
The High Steel Sales Department hosted a retirement luncheon on July 6, bringing together family and colleagues to celebrate and share memories.
Please join us in wishing Dave all the best in a well-deserved retirement. Congratulations, Dave, and thank you for 55 remarkable years with High Steel Structures!

Celebrating the spirit of freedom, unity, and 250 years of American ingenuity this Independence Day. From all of us at High Steel Structures, have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
High Steel Structures recently celebrated its first official Co-Op Signing Day at our Lancaster facility, welcoming five outstanding students who have accepted offers to join us as full-time fabricators after graduation.
Keegan Bandholz, Jacob Beighle, Leonardo Aguillera Lopez, Liam McFalls, and William Wingard were introduced to High Steel through Career and Technical Center programs across Lancaster, Chester, and Berks counties. Each has successfully completed our rigorous High Steel University training program, earning the welding and technical certifications required to help build the bridge girders that keep our nation moving.
During the ceremony, Mike Clark, Vice President of Operations, shared a powerful message: our goal is not just to develop skilled welders, but to grow members of a team that represents the very best in steel bridge fabrication worldwide. He encouraged the students to think long-term—seeing this moment as the beginning of a rewarding career filled with opportunity, growth, and purpose.
Following the ceremony, the new fabricators celebrated alongside their supervisors, families, teachers, and program coordinators at a catered lunch, marking the start of an exciting future with High Steel.
