Another late 80s frame upgrade in the books. Like the last one, it received a bunch of gussets, boxing in cast sections, and widening up the frame spars using pieces from another bike.

This work definitely has it's challenges with dirty casting boiling out junk taking up to 5 or more passes (with grinding in between), cleaning off anodizing properly, and hoping to find the right and comfortable position to get at everything from.

In the end though, another happy customer.

Almost a year ago this long term project was dropped off for me to work on when I could. It was a single seater airplane chassis done in mostly .035" chromoly tubing. At the time it was only tacked together by gas welding (which proved its difficulties in ways for tig welding later) but it's finally coming together including the motor mount kit I had to assemble. Definitely a cool challenge and there's even more to keep doing with it.

Looks like it's that time of year again. A couple of Valentine's Day stainless roses are heading out the door. If interested, order yours soon so shipping arrangements can be made.

A set of swing arms braced up for a happy owner. This process took stiffening bracing technology from current street bikes and put it on the original 80's era equipment. Should pair well with the prior frame modifications.

15 years on the old Miller Elite lens-- figured it was time for an upgrade. Let's hope this meets the expectations.
