Working on a Christmas present for one of our customers. A new deck!

Wood rot and water damage seem to be the theme of this year.

This Poor house was just plain neglected.
After some exploratory siding surgery, we discovered that there is no structural damage.
However there was evidence of water leakage through the gaps in the siding
Also the windows and trim have significant
wood rot.

W**d installed a huge bandaid, pending correction cost approval.

Every now and then we get jobs that require a little engiuity. Like replacing 2- 50 gal water heater
In an attic of a 2 story house. 🤤

We are getting close to completion.
Floors are down, new cabinet and toilets in place.
All we need to finish is a little trim work.
Baseboards and quarter round, and an over toilet
Cabinet to be installed.

Couple more trees and our lumberjacking is done for now.

This holiday season consider choosing a live Christmas tree. If you keep it well watered and fed, you'll have a tree that holds up, smells great and you can plant it at the end of the season. This is a very environmentally friendly way to celebrate the Holliday.

Yesterday we had an opportunity to practice our lumberjack skill.

And installed a new water heater for the same customer.

Winter time is approaching and insulating your water heater and plumbing will improve energy efficiency and help get that much desired hot water to all areas of the house quicker.

Not sure why, but this roof is leaking.
We are going to repair it later this week.

Last we we finished a very nice deck restoration.
So here is the final result.
