Today’s musing is a moment of reflection of my experience of 9/11, 25 years later

𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏 🇺🇸🕯️ On September 11, 2001, the world watched as an unimaginable tragedy unfolded in the United States. Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the terrorist attacks on New York City’s World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93. In New York, the Twin Towers—once defining landmarks of the Manhattan skyline—were destroyed, leaving behind devastation that would forever change the city, the nation, and countless families around the world. Yet within those darkest hours emerged extraordinary courage. Firefighters, police officers, paramedics, rescue workers, and ordinary people rushed toward danger, helped strangers, saved lives, and made sacrifices that would never be forgotten. Twenty-five years later, we remember not only what happened, but who was lost: mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, friends and colleagues—individual lives and stories behind every number. We honor the victims. We honor the heroes. We remember the families who carried their loss forward. September 11, 2001 — a day forever written into history. Never forgotten. 📍 New York City, New York, USA #neverforget #september11 #911memorial #september11memorial #nyc

“In the darkest day in American history there was a lot of LOVE”.

After being trapped in the wreckage of the World Trade Center for 13 hours, 9/11 survivor Will Jimeno recalls the moment he was finally rescued — and the lengthy recovery process that followed. Watch the full interview at the link in our bio.

To be clear…Censorship should not exist in a democracy…

First The View, then Colbert, and now Jimmy Kimmel… sure looks like the FCC’s Brendan Carr has a preferred candidate in Texas, and the agency is using federal power and threats to local stations to keep his opponent off of popular TV shows… James #talarico must really have a chance to win.
