3 reasons your ties are falling flat
1. Tying too fast. Rope takes time and that’s part of the beauty of it. If somebody lets you tie them, they are giving you often up to an hour of their time. Make the most of it!
2. Mixing play and practice. You should separate practice from play. This will create a natural distinction of the two forms of tying, letting you have the opportunity to play after the tie is on correctly!
3. Focusing too much on the ropes, instead of your partner. You are tying a person, not the pattern. Focus in on who you are tying, once you understand the ropes well enough
