Good design should look good. Great design should work even better.
For Cultivate Lancaster, functionality was the priority.
We created a streamlined, intuitive website with a robust service provider database, a new Stages of Business resource, and plenty of moving pieces working together seamlessly.
This project was a true collaboration — and a great example of how trust + partnership can turn a complex challenge into a successful launch. 💻

Even the lettering had a rehearsal.
New Rochelle. Harlem. Ellis Island. Three locations brought together in the artwork for Ragtime, giving you pieces of the story before you hear the first note. It’s a thread running through this season’s artwork: highlighting the places that shape each show.

A little design magic from concept to final mark ✨
For Frog and Toad at , the goal was to create a wordmark that felt whimsical, nostalgic, and storybook-inspired—without feeling dated.
Rounded shapes and a curved first line give the typography a playful, organic feel, while the atmospheric blue-green palette pulls inspiration from a muggy, cartoon-like forest.
And the finishing details? Designed to feel like little carved wooden letters, complete with mossy textures and earthy tones pulled straight from the artwork.
It’s a great example of how the smallest details can help a design feel completely at home within the world of a story. 🍃
