We are so disappointed to post this as we thought it would be the happiest pupdate in some time.
Bear’s adoption fell through and he will remain in boarding for the time being. 💔
It is heartbreaking to have a young energetic wonderful dog like Bear without a family but we are not failing him again. He needs a special home with committed people.
He is going to be the most amazing companion for the right family.
Message us for more details. He is not a “starter” dog. No small children or cats.

Bear enjoying the sunshine!
He has yet to find his family or person. This boy is going to be a dog of a lifetime. He does need extra care as he needs structure, exercise and mental simulation. Please reach out to us if you are interested in hearing more information about Bear. He deserves the best life. He is extra special!!

Meet Zeke!
Available for adoption in central PA. He is a 5-year-old, 13lbs Yorkie Bichon mix. Zeke is the happiest little guy, wanting nothing more than attention, a soft bed and his ball. When he wants you to throw his ball, he will bring it up to you, drop it at your feet, and nudge it towards you with his nose. Zeke is a sweetheart.

Zeke has a moderate to high energy level, so he will need exercise and enrichment every day, multiple times a day. He would do great as an only pup, or with another small friendly dog.

After coming from a difficult start, he’s put in the work and completed professional training. He has great manners and does best with clear expectations and consistency.

Meet Bear 🐾

Bear is a gorgeous Malamute mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He hasn’t had the easiest start—after being dropped at a shelter and moved between foster homes, he didn’t get the structure he needed and became easily overstimulated.

But Bear is so capable.

With professional board-and-train support, he learned how to channel his energy and truly thrive. Unfortunately, without the right foster environment, Bear did experience some regression—but the good news is, he is currently back in training and once again shining as the happy, well-behaved boy we know he is.

Bear needs:
• An experienced, confident owner (northern breed experience preferred)
• Structure, leadership, and consistency
• Regular exercise and mental engagement

He’s not a beginner dog, but in the right home, Bear will be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.

Pupdate:
As most of you know, Pachi is our longest resident in our rescue. We have been unsuccessful in finding her forever home. Meanwhile, she has been happy and well loved in her foster home for the past several years. It is unfathomable and heartbreaking that she has not found her people.
Finally, there is hope that in the near future, she will be transitioning to a new family who loves her deeply. Their life circumstances will be changing, which will allow them to bring her into their lives full-time.. as you can see Pachi adores them and is over the top joyful when she is with this very special couple. We are grateful to Pachi’s current family for all they they have done and remain doing for our sweet Pachi until the time is right for her to continue on her life journey. Sophie and Mystic were found in a lake community and were in need of medical attention and a forever indoor home. They were not from the same litter and found weeks apart. We were thrilled when Mystic and Sophie were adopted together as they had been fostered in the same home and had become BFFs.
These two beautiful kittens are now living their best lives! Thank you Kelly for fostering and for Deb and her family for adopting them!💕🐈🐈‍⬛
