A heartfelt thank-you to Jenny Hill and Dan Waber for generously volunteering their time and talents to thoroughly clean the carpet in our Training Room—a space where education, staff meetings, planning, community events, and connection happen throughout the year.

1,000+ HOURS OF HEART, SERVICE & IMPACT

For the past three years, Pat Lee has generously shared her time, talents and heart with Tenfold’s Empowerment Center—giving more than 1,000 hours to help our team and the neighbors we serve. From organizing and entering data to sorting, scanning and filing documents, Pat has taken on the behind-the-scenes work that keeps things moving and allows our staff to spend more time focused on the people we serve.

As Elijah Sanchez, a member of our team, shared, “Pat was super helpful, whenever I needed documents sorted, labeled or entered into Homeward Bound or RX. She was very computer savvy, quick to help out, and always willing to jump in and stay busy. I really appreciated how reliable and supportive she was.” That kind of dedication makes a difference.

Pat, thank you for more than 1,000 hours of service, for always being willing to help, and for the care you’ve brought to Tenfold. We are deeply grateful for everything you have contributed and wish you all the best in what comes next—and in the many ways you’ll continue to make a difference in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers and staff who recently rolled up their sleeves to help unload two truckloads of furniture for the new TLC rooms!

Your time, teamwork, and willingness to lend a hand—and a little muscle—helped make a big job possible. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped move the furniture into storage as we await the completion of Tenfold’s Transitional Living Center (TLC) renovations.

Each effort brings us one step closer to creating a welcoming, comfortable space for the individuals and families TLC will serve. Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping turn a building into a place of hope and stability.

A Little Extra Care Goes a Long Way

Tenfold is extremely grateful to Penn State Health for once again supporting our Outreach team and the neighbors we serve. Their generous donation of updated care kits includes essential items such as gloves, hats, neck gaiters, socks, blankets, snacks, water bottles, and hand-sanitizing wipes—thoughtful additions that provide comfort, warmth, and practical support to individuals in our community.

A special thank you to Diane Long, RN, and the Penn State Health team for personally delivering these much-needed items to Tenfold. We are deeply grateful for your continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to caring for our neighbors.

Volunteers Helped Beautify Tenfold’s Property

In August, several dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help care for and beautify Tenfold’s property.

Paul Arkatin (not pictured), a Lampeter-Strasburg student, and Mike Martin (not pictured), a member of First Presbyterian Church Lancaster, worked together to clean and repaint the basement stairs leading to our property management workspace and storage areas, helping create a cleaner, healthier environment for our staff.

Liana Kieley and Larry Rosen also helped refresh a parking lot used by Church World Service by clearing weeds, overgrowth and debris—creating a cleaner, safer and more welcoming space.

We’re grateful to Paul, Mike, Liana and Larry for giving their time, energy and care to help Tenfold maintain welcoming spaces for our staff, partners and community. Thank you for making a difference!

Lampeter-Strasburg School District

Students Step Up to Help Prepare the Winter Shelter.

A dedicated group of Franklin & Marshall College student volunteers lent their time and energy to help prepare Tenfold’s Winter Shelter for the months ahead. The students helped move new beds, awarded through a grant managed by the Lancaster City Housing & Redevelopment Authority (LCHRA), into the shelter and set them up for use.

Their teamwork, enthusiasm and willingness to take on this important project helped the work go quickly while creating a safe, welcoming space where our neighbors can rest during the coldest months. We are grateful for their hard work and commitment to serving our community—and it was a joy to work alongside these bright and energetic students!
