Josie was adopted through MAPR to her forever home in April 2026. She shows her love to her dog parents with cuddles on the couch, twirls when food is imminent, and happy howls when they return home. Josie's favorite food is her mid-afternoon greenie, and her favorite hobbies are riding in the car and running around on the beach.

🧀 Eddie & Charlie were adopted together as a bonded pair from MAPR in November 2024, completing their family. These sweet boys love traveling and going on vacations with their family, checking on their veggie garden, spending time on the water, eating cheese, chasing squirrels, and snuggling in their king-size bed that they allow the humans to sleep in. The absolute best boys.

📣 2027 Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue Calendar Contest!

🐾 This is our annual fundraiser, which helps rescue and rehabilitate abandoned or surrendered pugs and pug mixes across the Mid-Atlantic region. We have partnered with the good folks at GoGoPhotoContest to do a pay-per-VOTE contest. This means that photo entries are FREE!

🐾 There will instead be a $1 per vote fee. As always, please remember that this is first for fun and second for the benefit of MAPR, so give a wiggle of your happy tails and get started entering your photos! Here are the pugs entered so far!
