SoCal Metal band with heavy grooves, melodic vocals and monstrous tenacity. We are Saved Not Soft! We write about life and hope in Christ.
Shroud are...
David Priest - Vocals
Greg Howell - Guitar
Michael Harding - Drums
Travis Squier - Bass
The Shroud sound is the culmination of many influences that span over four decades. Some of those influences are Led Zeppelin, Metallica, UFO, Dio, Precious Death, Bride, Alice Cooper, Volbeat, Aerosmith, Rob Zombie, Deliverance, Rush, and the list goes on. You'd be hard-pressed to pigeonhole our music, that's for sure. We are all veterans of the local Rock and Metal scene here in California. (Old guys play it better!)
While music is certainly a strong passion for the members of Shroud, the heart of the band and what truly binds us together is our love of God. Our song topics cover everything from life's day-to-day difficulties, the state of the world, the state of one's heart, struggles with addiction, abuse and salvation. Shroud endeavor to deliver the best in your face experience possible both musically and spiritually.
