So I had the opportunity to help out on Brian‘s drag and drive cab over van/truck… With a cool LS and 4L80E trans swap… Trying to get it ready for drag week next weekend in St. Louis… Had to do some custom cage work as well as building a new roof to put on which included cutting a roof section off of a newer Cadillac Escalade and grafting it into the cab over… This thing had several challenging tests to overcome, but me and Brian managed to knock it out as best we could… This thing is no showpiece by any means, but it is truly a dare to be different kind of build with potentially 10 second all motor elapse times… I’m glad I got to be on board with this deal and good luck to Brian and his crew. 

Didn’t realize that I didn’t post any pictures of Joe’s hand made all aluminum strut less wing on His Pro St., Vega… So here you go… Also, I ended up making a little aluminum shroud on the passenger side to keep number four cylinder from getting too much heat to the starter or the plug wires 

Tons and tons of handmade stuff 

Just wrapping up a set of custom-made headers for Joe’s Vega… 2.25–2.375–2.50 – stepped stainless steel headers into a custom-made hand rolled 6 inch collector  even fabricated, the cylinder head fl**ge plates out of .375 stainless steel… also redid the chrome Molly front runners on the front frame section to add to the structural integrity… fab out a custom strut less wing for the back of this killer pro Street car …Hopefully we’ll wrap this bad boy up by the end of the week so he can go back to the track ….

Scratching out another hand built, stainless steel, custom header collector… Definitely nothing fancy but just being a slave to the grind… Also constant welding on big Joe’s hand formed 9 inch rear housing for his supercharger … Also finished up a 12 bolt drop in housing for an S-10 for Jose … oh and I can’t look at helping out my buddies at Columbia tire on their sick Monte Carlo project getting the hood to fit right with the new high ram EFI intake

Hammering out hot rod parts… For big Joe’s, supercharger four link, suspension, bad ass pro Street ride… Richards, convertible, lowlife, Buick… Custom-made, stainless steel headers for Joe’s Vega complete with handmade stainless steel, fl**ge plates and collectors… and modified fiberglass hood, scoop with custom patina paint for MRT racing rambler … I never said that I was fast, but I definitely give it my all

Big shout out to Todd Neal four his runner up finish at Brainerd motorsports Park this weekend  this old hot rod is almost 30 years old since it’s been finished and it is still absolutely awesome looking and even better at cashing checks
