Fogle Manor

In the midst of a flooring renewal project at Fogle Manor by using high-quality LVP. Even though preparation is actively underway for life's next adventure, the home we have owned for 16 years will be improved until the day it takes on new ownership.

Upstairs bathroom renovation is complete and a roof replacement is next. The steps toward prepping it for a new life and the big relocation continue.

Garage door and opener replacement

Alas, the storm caused damage to a shed on the back 40. Repairs underway.

Basement refurb just about done. Newly painted, replaced baseboards, and carpet....

New skin!

The original siding on Fogle Manor was replaced with one easier to maintain and less prone to damage from the wonderous rays of the sun. Due to a bit of diligence and research, the uniqueness of its color to this Lake Ridge neighborhood was retained. The eye-catching blue of Fogle Manor has been preserved.

Next project: Fogle Manor gets new 'skin.' All siding will be replaced beginning Friday.

After a bit of time, the front porch was finished on 15 July.Thanks to repairs to some woodwork by Doug Quinn as well as much painting by yours truly, it appears just like the day it was built. Next, refurb on the foyer.

Next project: Refurbish the front porch. Years of tempermental winter conditions have given the porch a "House of Usher" appearance. Projected time line of completion is about three weeks.

The latest project at Fogle Manor was a renovation of the master bathroom. Replaced the bathtub, toilet; installed granite floors and ledges, new porcelain tile, new fixtures. The work was accomplished by Quinn's Home Improvement. Doug's crew renovated the room ahead of schedule and performed high quality work for a very reasonable price.

Next project: repainting formal living room.
