Sent Church

Another Sunday to gather, worship, and hear God’s Word. 💙

What a blessing it is to come together as a church family each Lord’s Day to worship our Savior, sit under the preaching of His Word, and encourage one another in the faith.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or are visiting for the first time, we’d love for you to join us tomorrow!

📍 NEW LOCATION: Christ Church Longwood
151 W. Church Ave., Longwood, FL
🕐 SUNDAY SERVICE: 12:45 PM

We look forward to worshiping with you!

📖 Before the gospel can sound forth from us, it must first reverberate within us.

In 1 Thessalonians 1:1–10, we see a church whose faith was deeply rooted in God’s sovereign grace. Despite opposition and hardship, their lives reflected a faith that worked, a love that labored, and a hope that endured.

Their witness wasn’t built on impressive strategies or circumstances. It was the result of God’s transforming work through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As believers, we’re reminded that our confidence is not in our circumstances, our plans, or our own abilities. Our confidence rests in the God who saves, transforms, and sends His people to proclaim Christ.

📖 1 Thessalonians 1:3 (ESV)
“remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.”

💭 Three questions for reflection:

1. Is the gospel deeply rooted in your heart, shaping the way you live and respond to life’s challenges?
2. Are faith, love, and hope evident in your life through your actions, relationships, and endurance?
3. Does your life faithfully reflect Christ to your family, neighbors, and those God has placed around you?

💙 May we be a church firmly rooted in Christ, faithfully proclaiming His Word, serving others in love, and living with the steadfast hope of His return. May the gospel resound through our lives and throughout our community, for the glory of God!

Moving Sent Church into our new home was a big job, and our church family showed up in a big way. 💙

From our kids to our adults, so many people jumped in to pack, carry, clean, organize, and get everything ready for our first Sunday.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who gave their time and energy to serve so faithfully. We truly could not have done it without you.

We really do have the best church family, and we’re so thankful to the Lord for each of you! 🙌

Tomorrow, we gather for worship in a new place. 🙌

As we step into this new season, we’re thankful for the Lord’s faithful provision and eager to gather together around His Word, sing His praises, encourage one another, and fix our eyes on Christ.

We’d love for you to join us for our first Sunday in historic downtown Longwood.

📣 A reminder: Beginning October 4, we’ll be meeting at Christ Church Longwood at our new service time of 12:45 PM!

We can’t wait to see you!

In one of the lowest moments of his life, David returned to find his home destroyed, his family taken captive, and his own men turning against him. Yet in the midst of his sorrow, God’s Word tells us:

📖 “But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6 (ESV)

He remembered who God was, sought Him in prayer, and walked in obedience to His Word. And through it all, God’s sovereign hand was at work.

What an encouragement for us! 💙

When we face hardship, sorrow, or uncertainty, we can strengthen our hearts by remembering the goodness, faithfulness, and sovereign care of our God.

And ultimately, David’s story points us to an even greater King: Jesus Christ, who died, rose again, and reigns forever. When sorrow increases, we can look to Him, trust His care, and find our strength in Him.

💭 Questions for reflection:

1. When hardship comes, where do you turn for strength?

2. Are you seeking the Lord in dependent prayer and trusting His direction?

3. How does remembering Christ’s eternal reign encourage you in your present circumstances?

May we continue to look to Christ, trust His providential care, and strengthen our hearts in Him. 🙏

Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day, and we have the joy of gathering together as His people. 🙌

Week by week, the Lord graciously calls us together to hear His Word, seek Him in prayer, encourage one another, and worship Christ. We’d love for you to join us tomorrow.
