Mango Cuddles

A life lost is one gained. The day that this baby girl named Felisse was born, my dearest mother died. Her name was generated from the name of my Nanay Fe, as a daily reminder for all the members of my family that our mother is always with us - and she allowed a new life to be in exchange. It was hard to mourn while you have something to celebrate on. There was a contrast. It had been a roller coaster of emotions, but deep inside, we are very delighted as this little one brings hope to each and every one of us. That was clearly the way of life: a person dies, and a life is born.
