🚨 **PEANUT NEEDS US — AND WE ARE SO FAR FROM OUR GOAL.** 🚨
We need to ask for your help.
Having already spent $7600 we are starting again
This little girl desperately needs our help again.
was hospitalized at UC Davis during the summer , undergoing testing and seen by internal medicine specialists. But despite everything that was done, **we still don't have the answers we need to get her well.**
Her liver is still seriously compromised.
What makes this especially heartbreaking is that **Peanut is still fighting.** She eats voraciously. She wants to be here. She has not given up.
And we are not giving up on her.
Peanut urgently needs additional diagnostics so her doctors can figure out what is happening and determine how to treat her. There is also a possibility that she will need a **liver biopsy and another hospital stay, which could cost approximately $8,200.**
We simply cannot do this without help.
**If 100 people gave $25, that would be $2,500.**
**If 50 people gave $50, that would be another $2,500.**
And if you can't donate, **PLEASE SHARE PEANUT'S STORY.** One share could put her in front of the person who can help us save her.
Peanut is tiny.
Her fight is enormous.
Please help us give this little girl every possible chance. ❤️🐾

🐾 MY SECOND CHANCE ISN'T OVER YET... ❤️
Hi everyone... it's me, Mickey D.
A little while ago, I underwent one of the biggest surgeries of my life. The wonderful doctors at UC Davis removed 19 diseased teeth that had been causing me unimaginable pain. For years, every bite, every chew, every meal must have hurt. I just lived with it because I didn't know any other way.
The good news is... my gums have healed beautifully.
My veterinary team says I'm finally ready for the next step.
This Thursday, I'll return to UC Davis for what they hope will be the final surgery to reconstruct my jaw.
After new imaging—including an ultrasound and Cone Beam CT scan—they plan to implant a special bridge designed to help regrow the bone and stabilize my fractured jaw. If all goes as planned, my jaw can heal properly, and I'll finally have the chance to eat, play, and live without the pain I've carried for so long.
But there's one problem.
The surgery will cost approximately $5,300, and we're running out of time.
Hugs For Harry has never turned away from dogs like me, even when the medical bills seemed impossible. They said "yes" when I needed them most. Now they're asking for your help so they can say "yes" one more time.
Every donation—whether it's $10, $25, $100, or more—brings me one step closer to the surgery that could change the rest of my life.
I didn't choose to live with a fractured jaw and years of untreated dental disease.
But because of you... I may finally get the chance to heal.
Thank you for believing that dogs like me are worth saving.
With love,
❤️ Mickey D

**Hi everyone...it's Peanut.** ❤️
Yesterday, I got really, really sick and had to be rushed to **UC Davis Veterinary Hospital**, where I was admitted to the ICU. Today, the doctors transferred me into the care of their **Internal Medicine team** because they're trying to figure out why my little liver is so sick.
I've had lots of blood tests, ultrasounds, IV fluids, medications, and so many kind people taking care of me. Everyone here is working hard to find answers and help me get better.
I'm a little scared, but I'm trying to be brave.
The wonderful people at Hugs for Harry promised they would do everything they could to help me, and they've kept that promise. They've never stopped fighting for me.
Now they need a little help.
My hospitalization and the specialized diagnostic testing the doctors need to help me will cost **$6,900**. I know that's a lot of money, but I'm hoping that if enough people each give a little, together we can do something really big.
If you've ever loved a dog...
If you've ever rooted for an underdog...
If you've ever believed that every life deserves a chance...
Would you please help me?
**You won't just be helping pay for my hospitalization... you'll be giving me the chance to have a future.**
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to getting the answers I need and one step closer to coming home. And if you're not able to donate, would you please share my post? You never know who might see it and decide they want to help a tiny little Chihuahua they've never met.
Thank you for every prayer, every kind word, every share, and every donation. They remind me that I'm not fighting this battle alone.
**Thank you for believing I'm worth saving.** ❤️
With all my love,
**Peanut** 🐾

🚨 URGENT FOR MICKEY D 🚨
Mickey D's surgery is in just TWO DAYS.
This sweet little dog has been living with a shattered jaw, and after months of waiting, he finally has a chance to receive the surgery that could free him from constant pain.
Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, we've raised $4,490 toward the $5,800 needed for his procedure.
We are now just $1,310 short.
That's it.
We're so close.
But if we cannot raise the remaining funds immediately, Mickey's surgery is at risk.
What makes this so difficult is that Mickey has never stopped trusting people. Despite everything he's endured, he still greets us with a wagging tail and a hopeful heart.
He has done his part.
Now we're asking for help to do ours.
Please consider making a donation today. If you cannot donate, sharing this post may help us reach the person who can.
Let's get Mickey into surgery on time and give him the pain-free future he deserves. ❤️

We wish people could truly understand how much pain Mickey D is living with right now. 💔
This sweet little dog has a shattered jaw.
Every meal hurts.
Every bite is difficult.
And yet somehow, despite everything he has endured, Mickey still wags his tail, seeks affection, and looks at people with complete trust.
It’s honestly heartbreaking.
The team at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine believes they can save him through multiple surgeries that could finally free him from this constant pain and give him the life he deserves.
In an incredible act of generosity, UC Davis has already donated the first $2,500 toward Mickey’s surgeries.
Now we are desperately trying to MATCH that gift so we can move forward with the next critical steps in his care.
But we still need to raise approximately $9,500 for:
🐾 Jaw repair surgery
🐾 Dental extractions
🐾 Specialized diagnostics
🐾 Anesthesia
🐾 Recovery and pain management
Hugs For Harry is a very small rescue. We take in dogs that others often turn away because they are elderly, injured, medically fragile, or simply too expensive to save.
But Mickey deserves this chance.
Please — if you can help in any way, even a small donation matters right now.
And if you cannot donate, sharing his story could help us reach the person who can.
