Feeding Pets of the Homeless is celebrating their
annual Give a Dog a Bone week Aug 3-9! We will be
collecting donations at :
Salon des Amis
106 Westmark Blvd. #101
M - F between 9 - 4

Feeding Pets of the Homeless is the first and one of the few national nonprofits providing pet food and emergency veterinary care to pets that belong to homeless
people. All donations of goods made at our locations will go directly to helping pets of those experiencing homelessness in our community.

"Evidence shows that animal companionship is fortifying and contributes to the emotional well-being of people experiencing homelessness, including encouraging owners to obtain sobriety, leave abusive relationships, and avoid incarceration."

DONATIONS ITEMS :
* Gift cards to Costco, Petco, PetSmart or Tractor Supply (we will purchase items to donate)
* Canned pet food
* Small bags, under 25 lbs, of dry pet food (PLEASE make sure bags are sealed/taped closed) this will make for easier distribution.

As always this group welcomes anyone who is struggling with the grief associated with the loss of a pet, there is no fee to attend.

Our January session of our Pet Loss Support Group is scheduled for this Sunday January 19th at 3pm. As always there is no fee to attend and anyone struggling with grief related to the loss or anticipated loss of a pet are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
