Little Faith is ready to go home in just a few weeks. Her coat will be recovering probably for the next year. She may have areas where she was severely burned that will never come back. But guess what? She looks great in a sweater and doesn’t mind wearing one. She’s a funny little girl with a big personality. Her perfect home would be an adult home likely no young children since she can be a little sassy. She is great with other dogs, loves to play and has been through hell and back. We are pretty confident to say she was in an Oakland encampment fire. When she came to us about half of her skin and hair was literally peeling off of her body. She has made extreme recovery happen and just weeks. She’s about two years young will be spayed and ready to go. If you’re looking for a dog with a story, she would be the one.

Poor Wallace had a big scare and we still don’t know exactly where or why it happened. He was out with the dog walker once he got back we realized he it was bleeding significantly from his side. According to the vet, he likely had an old wound that was missed and had eventually become a large abscess. Somehow it burst causing major surgery, needed to deal with the dead skin and necrosis that had already started. He’s the sweetest gentle soul so to see him hurting is beyond hard. $1800 later at Encina. He’s home and resting, but no walks of rest is ahead of him!
Donations are appreciated. This was definitely an unforeseen expense.
Every lil bit helps🐶❤️

🚗🐾 HELP US FILL THE CAR FOR THE VALLEY! 🐾🚗
On June 14th, we’ll be making the drive down to Fresno to support our amazing rescue partners in the Central Valley, and we’d love your help making the trip count!
Their biggest needs right now are:
🐶 Dry dog food (open bags are okay if securely taped/sealed)
🥫 Wet dog food
🦴 Treats
🥣 Food & water bowls
🚽 Potty pads
🦮 Leashes
🐕 Collars
🎽 Harnesses
📦 Plastic crates
Donations can be dropped off in Vallejo or Clayton, and depending on your location, we may be able to help arrange pickup as well.
Our goal is simple: fill every inch of the car and turn one road trip into double the impact for homeless animals in need. Every bag of food, every leash, every crate helps rescue groups stretch their resources and save more lives.
And while we’re preparing for more puppies arriving soon, let’s not forget about the many wonderful adoptable dogs already waiting for their forever homes. ❤️
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post is just as valuable. Sharing is caring, and you never know who may have supplies sitting in a garage ready to help a rescue dog.
Thank you for supporting rescue, community, and second chances. 🐾❤️

Sprout is absolutely adorable, but Has had not even one application. This handsome boy about eight months young. Probably some sort of Jack Russell Chiweenie mix, but maybe even a little corgi. He’s long low and medium about 15 pounds. He’s extremely smart, love to chase a ball and his very affiliative. He’s going to be an awesome companion for a person or a family with children. He likes other dogs, both big and small and does great on adventures. He’s fully vetted and ready to find a home. Could it be yours?

🚨🚨We were able so far to secure four of the eight total puppies. The homeless person has become less helpful, but animal control is involved and we’re hoping they do surrender all. If they do, indeed surrender them all we need more Fosters! We’ve been able to talk to Fostersinto each taking 2. These animals are living in pretty horrific conditions. They’re living on the side of a freeway under a tarp. There are many other dogs and now an additional litter within the encampment. We’ve already vaccinated, dewormed, and they are all eating puppy food. We are also going to be trying to work on rehoming mama since they now don’t want to keep her.
Please keep your negative comments and judgment. It will not help the situation. What we need is people to share as far as they can in hopes people or other rescues even can get involved. Unfortunately, encampments come with lots of problems and a lot of mental health. We are not here to solve problems, but truly just helped the dogs.
