In Louisiana, no pay, no play means if you do not have auto insurance and get ina wreck that is not your fault, then you lose the right to recover the first $100,000 of your claim! So make sure you are insured before you begin driving.

Know before you go. We all know what roads in our areas hold water when it rains. So avoid those roads, intersections and underpasses. You are in a car, not a boat or submarine.

It is not uncommon for me, as a personal injury attorney, to see people with pre-existing injuries who have now been involved in a crash. The bare minimum state required insurance does not protect you for injuries you sustain or damages to your car when you've been in a crash and are not at fault. You need coverage to protect yourself like uninsured motorist coverage, medical payments, comp and collision, maybe even rental coverage.

What do you think is the most dangerous turn? I see more crashes from left turning drivers who go when the coast isn't clear. But several crashes happen when people pull out from side roads and parking lots turning right onto the main road.
