A man cave (bonus room above the garage) that won’t disappoint the friend group! 😅
This particular client wanted a space for himself and his teenage son to hang out, work and have some bonding time with their friends.
This was the first round of renderings, what would you add or take away?

Are you designing a kitchen within the next year?
If so, I can help you pre plan the entire thing.
That way you’re aware of the cost, time and management that goes into the project before you even begin.
Is it obtainable financially, is it what you envisioned it would be with all your pieces picked out? Do you need to go fully custom or can you do a partial? These are things you will have answers to ahead of time to give you the full picture.
is ready to help you! 🙌🏻

Choosing brick is one of the most significant exterior design decisions you will make, yet many homeowners focus solely on the brick itself.
In reality, the final appearance is heavily influenced by mortar color, brick texture, roof color, paint selections, and the installation style. A brick that looks perfect in a showroom can look completely different once installed on a full scale.
To ensure your vision is realized, we create detailed exterior elevations and 3D renderings before selections are finalized. This allows you to see how every element works together before construction begins.
Attending brick meetings and viewing homes in person is a critical point. Don’t just pick a sample board. MDS is here to help serve you!

A rendering is just the visual. The real magic is everything that comes behind it.✨🏡
One thing I need clients to understand about working with Magnolia Design Studio is that you’re receiving so much more than a pretty rendering! 🤔
Yes, you’ll receive realistic 3D visualizations, you see me posting, of your home, but that’s just the beginning… how so? ⬇️
Every project includes:
• Detailed cabinet schedules - I also correspond with your cabinet vendor.. I have referrals if you need!
• Bird’s-eye floor plans - how the space flows
• Accurate room measurements based on your construction plans - ensures proper placement
• Furniture layouts scaled to the actual dimensions of your space
• Mood boards for each room - visuals of the things you will purchase grouped per room
• Clickable shopping spreadsheets with furniture, lighting, décor, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and finish selections
• Lighting schedules - spreadsheet and floor plan
• Plumbing schedules - spreadsheet
• Appliance schedules - spreadsheet
• Paint specifications - spreadsheet
• Window and door schedules - meetings with your prefer vendor to ensure you understand what window you’re buying.. most people don’t realize how complex a window can be! 😅
My goal is to help you visualize the finished product before construction begins while also providing your builder and vendors with the information they need to execute the design accurately.
I also attend many of the selection meetings alongside my clients, including:
✔️ Decorative tile
✔️ Flooring
✔️ Countertops
✔️ Roofing
✔️ Paint
✔️ Hardware
✔️ Plumbing fixtures
✔️ Lighting
✔️ Windows & doors
Design isn’t just about making a home look beautiful. It’s about creating a clear plan that reduces stress, minimizes costly change orders, and helps everyone involved stay on the same page from start to finish.
Every detail is intentional. Every selection has a purpose. And every decision is made with the finished home

I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about how the process works with Magnolia Design Studio, so here’s a little behind the scenes look into what we actually do.
Every project starts with a complimentary consultation phone call, FaceTime, or in person to see if we’re a good fit for your project and communication style.
From there, I take your plans (or personally measure the space myself) and build everything into my 3D rendering software. Before construction is complete, sometimes before the dirt pad is even poured, we’re already visually walking through your future home. If you’ve done research you know you hire an interior designer before you have even pulled permits.
We go through preliminary renderings together, make revisions, fine tune layouts, cabinetry, lighting, finishes, paint colors, hardware… all before expensive decisions are made on-site.
Once the vision is finalized virtually, I coordinate selections with local vendors, roofing, brick, tile, plumbing, lighting, countertops and more to make sure every detail works cohesively together.
Because building a luxury home is so much more than picking pretty finishes off Pinterest.
Brick alone has dozens of variables that completely change the final look, mortar color, grout lines, flush vs raked joints, slurry washes, sack washes… the details matter more than people realize. Two homes can use the same brick and look completely different depending on application.
And I think one of the biggest misconceptions about hiring a designer is that we’ll force our style onto your project or make things feel financially unattainable. I do neither.
Every project is tailored specifically to the client and how they want their home to feel. My job is to refine your vision, not replace it. And I’ve worked hard to create pricing that feels approachable, with payment plans available because thoughtful design should feel accessible when you’re making one of the biggest investments of your life.
Luxury isn’t about square footage. It’s about intentionality, functionality, flow, and creating a home that still feels timeless years from now. ✨(pic is of a MIL suite that I’m working on 👀🩷)

Working on an Airbnb for a client and we are getting creative with a smaller layout. This will be a fun project to share!
Design + Renderings:

Working on a full house design for a new construction beauty in Carencro, I can’t wait to see this kitchen in real life in a few months!
Did you know that Magnolia Design Studio offers..
We create full design packets that help homeowners, builders, architects, and vendors stay aligned from start to finish. Every detail is thought through visually and technically so there’s less confusion, fewer mistakes, and a smoother build process.
What’s included in our design schedules + packets:
• Window schedules
• Door schedules
• Cabinet layouts + elevations
• Paint colors + finishes
• Appliance selections
• Lighting selections + placement
• Plumbing fixtures
• Faucets + sinks
• Door hardware
• Cabinet hardware
• Flooring + tile selections
• Tile layouts + patterns
• Ceiling details + beam placements
• Material selections
• Countertop + stone selections
• Visual renderings of the final product
• Lighting heights + spacing
• Trim + moulding details
• Exterior finish selections
• Furniture + styling direction (if needed)
Our goal is to create a clear visual roadmap so everyone involved in the project can see the vision before construction even begins.
The result?
A more cohesive home, fewer costly revisions, and a builder/vendor team that has a clear understanding of the final design intent.
This is design with purpose, not just inspiration. 🫶🏻
