Esencia PTSA

CLASS COLORS ARE HERE!

We want Hawk-O-Ween to be a FUN day for our kids, full of school spirit, Halloween energy, and lots of Esencia fun!

Each elementary class has been assigned a color, and we’re strongly encouraging students to REP THEIR CLASS COLOR on run day! Think shirts, socks, tutus, capes, headbands, sunglasses, or whatever creative ideas you can come up with. 👻

Swipe through for some inspiration, but these are just ideas! Use what you already have, DIY something fun, or keep it super simple. There’s absolutely no need to purchase anything new.

Students who choose to wear a Halloween costume are welcome to do so as long as it follows our school costume guidelines and is safe for running.

Most of all, we want the kids to have fun, get creative, and feel excited to run with their class!

🎃 IT’S OFFICIAL: HAWK-O-WEEN IS COMING! 👻

One of our favorite Esencia traditions is back, with a little Hawk-O-Ween twist!

ELEMENTARY: Get ready for the Hawk-O-Ween Fun Run on October 30! Students will run with their classes, rep their class colors, and bring plenty of festive spirit to the track.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: We’re shaking things up this year with a Hawk-O-Ween Color Run on October 29! Runs will take place during students’ PE periods and don’t worry, we have a plan for our 0 period Hawks too! Expect music, color, school spirit, and a whole lot of fun.

Fundraising kicks off October 20, so keep an eye out for everything you need to know about fundraising, prizes, class colors, run-day details, and more.

We’ve been keeping this one under wraps for a little while… and we’re SO excited to finally let the ghost out of the bag.

This Friday, October 2nd is Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day and our annual CHP Safety Assembly during Friday flag.

PTSA volunteers will be handing out SOAR tickets to students who walk and bike to school 🚶🚶‍♀️🚲

Sneak peek! 👀 The SOAR Store opens Monday, 9/28, and Hawks can start redeeming their SOAR tickets during library time.
