And just like that, we toured our lovely neighbor Kathy Fries garden on Ch*****ne Point. Lucky day! She has transformed her native lot into something extraordinary. Tropical, Zen, vintage, and sanctuary for quail, doves, pheasant and rare poultry including "frizzles" and "silkies". Not to mention her hydrangea aspera and fern collection!

A trip through Allerton gardens on Kauai. The rill fountain in the Mermaid Room was inspired by an Italian design. Poured in place. The sound of the quiet spills in the fountain are repeated at 50 seconds per minute, to match a relaxed heartbeat in a deliberate cadence. A beautiful and massive property with orchards of unique fruit species and rare trees throughout. The fig trees started from 1 gal pots are now close to 80 ft and would be taller without past hurricanes passing through. Also, the film location for Jurassic Park ( the Dino eggs were located here!) as well as Pirates of the Caribbean.
