š¾ BIG NEWS FROM THE DOOD RANCH š¾
If everything goes according to plan, this could be our biggest puppy season yet!
Both Honey and Peaches have been bred, and we will be confirming pregnancies by ultrasound on June 26.
šÆ Honeyās First Litter
This will be Honeyās first litter, and we couldnāt be more excited to see what she produces. Since this is her first I am unsure of her patterns, so there are still a few unknowns until ultrasound confirmation. If her patterns are similar to Peaches, then they have the same due dateš!
š Peachesā Final Litter
This litter will be especially meaningful, as it will be Peachesā final litter. Having raised several incredible litters from her, I know her patterns well. Her due date is August 3rd.
⨠Potentially TWO litters arriving in August 2026.
Once pregnancies are confirmed through ultrasound, families on our waitlist will have the opportunity to reserve early pick positions. Most reservations are finalized after puppies are born and genders are confirmed.
We already have several wonderful families waiting, but two litters means more opportunities for families to welcome a Dood Ranch puppy.
If youāve been thinking about adding a Labradoodle to your family, now is the perfect time to submit an application and join the waitlist.

šæš¾ THE GREENHOUSE LITTER IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED š¾šæ
With one final delivery this Sunday and one sweet pup staying back with us for a little extra boarding time, weāre officially wrapping up our Greenhouse Litter.
Every puppy from this litter found their forever family, and watching them grow, learn, play, and bloom never gets old for us. Itās just the best!
THANK YOU to every family who trusted us with such a huge decision. We never take that lightly š¤
⨠Looking ahead:
Our next litter is expected in August, and the waitlist is already beginning to fill. Families who have completed applications are contacted first once puppies are born, so if youāve been thinking about joining The Dood Ranch family, now is the time to get your application in. š¾š¶
We hate when our house gets quiet, and weāre already looking forward to the next group of little paw prints ā¤ļø
Last park day together š¾š
Before the puppies started heading home last Friday, we squeezed in one final park run together as a litter. And honestly⦠these are my favorite days.
The wrestling.
The zoomies.
The confidence-building.
The figuring out how to interact with the world and each other.
People sometimes think socialization only means meeting strangers, but littermate play is a huge piece of healthy puppy development too. They learn boundaries, confidence, communication, frustration tolerance, and how to recover when something feels new or overwhelming. All while thinking theyāre just out there having the best day of their lives š
Watching them run together knowing some were only days away from leaving was equal parts sweet and heartbreaking. This litter has been such a fun little crew.
Now theyāre starting new adventures with their families, and I canāt wait for them to meet š
Petco field trip š¾š
One thing we believe strongly in here at the Dood Ranch is that puppies need to experience the world together before they head off into their forever homes.
Socialization is so much more than just meeting people - itās learning confidence, sounds, smells, carts rolling by, automatic doors, new floors, strangers saying hi, and learning that the world is safe.
And honestly? It was a bit of a gong show š
A few puppies were convinced they needed to sniff every square inch of the store, while the majority wanted absolutely nothing to do with that plan and preferred to be held the whole time, just watching the chaos unfold from our arms. Different personalities shining through so clearly.
Thatās the beauty of doing these outings with littermates. The brave ones help encourage the cautious ones. The cautious ones learn theyāre safe. They build confidence together before life changes in a big way.
They also got car treats after, donāt worry. šš
Some of these puppies have already left us, and this week a big chunk of the litter heads home too. Itās the bittersweet part of breeding - watching them grow into confident little dogs while also knowing the house gets quieter.
So for now, weāll soak in the cuteness through videos while we still can š

Bringing home a puppy shouldnāt feel overwhelming.
But for a lot of people, it does.
Thereās so much advice online that puppy ownership can start feeling complicated before your puppy even comes home.
Thatās exactly why I created this.
Not a rigid training system.
Not a āperfect dogā program.
Just a simple, real-life plan based on how we actually raise puppies in our home.
Because most people donāt need more advice.
They need a clear, simple place to start.
If youāre bringing home a puppy soon⦠start here. š¾ Link in bio.
Socialization doesnāt happen by accident⦠itās built in simple moments like this š¾
Exploring new spaces, being around kids, interacting with some of our dogs, feeling different surfaces - these are some of the small ways they learn that the world is safe.
At this age, it matters even more and itās why we keep our puppies until theyāre 12 weeks old. Theyāre still with their littermates, so everything feels secure while they experience something new. We keep it short, positive, and intentional.
Also⦠previous families joke about our pups and their ball obsession šā½ļø Yeah⦠thatās 100% our fault. And we notice it more and more š
If you didnāt spot your pup here, donāt worry, theyāll be in the next group š We rotate them through and only take a few at a time. Weāre cool and can handle a lot, but 10 puppies at once⦠Weāre not THAT cool š
Just a normal night in the Brantingham home šš¾
We wanted to see if theyād let us wrap them like babiesā¦
so we tried it on all 10.
Some seemed to roll their eyes.
Some melted right into it.
And some⦠were a little too chunky to rock properly š
But hereās the part that mattersā¦
Not a single puppy nipped.
Not one showed aggression.
Every single one let us move them, flip them, hold them on their backsā¦
That kind of flexibility isnāt luck.
Itās how theyāre raised.
Handled from day 3.
Raised in the heart of our home.
Used to noise, kids, chaos, and love.
So when life isnāt perfect⦠they adjust.
The best pups arenāt just cute⦠theyāre built different š
Most people think quiet = calm.
But real life isnāt quiet.
Itās vacuums running.
Kids laughing.
Doors opening and closing.
Life happening all around them.
And when puppies are raised in the middle of that⦠they donāt panic. They donāt shut down. They donāt get overwhelmed.
They learn.
They learn that noise isnāt scary.
That movement isnāt a threat.
That chaos doesnāt mean danger.
So when they go home with you⦠theyāre not trying to survive your world.
Theyāre already comfortable in it.
This video? No fear. No scrambling. Just confident, well-adjusted puppies who know how to exist in a real home.
That doesnāt happen by accident.
At The Dood Ranch, we donāt raise puppies in kennels. We raise them in our living room, with our kids, in the middle of everyday life.
Because the goal isnāt just a cute puppyā¦
Itās a dog that fits seamlessly into your family from day one. š¾
Iāve been MIA on here because it just seems like everything went crazy at once, and then we got hit with the flu š¤¦š¼āāļø
Babies are growing and have the funniest personalities. Weāve started doing small groups for the car, and you can see that some need more practice than others š
