After a week of watching her closely Shelley finally delivered boy/girl twins at 4:30 am.. and thanks to the barn cam I knew it. And I was able to break the girl's sack allowing her to get her first breaths!

They will be adoptable when weaned or as bottle babies if they learn to take a bottle.

Caroline surprised us this morning with a single doeling.
I didn't realize she was bred during the escaped buck episodes. I have wondered if there was hanky panky thru the fence this breeding season. Very determined Nigerian boys! She never looked pregnant and she's not an overweight girl. Milk came in sometime before delivery.
Goats have a way of throwing you surprises!

I think we have arrived at the pinnacle of nutritious orange yolks! Grass is growing and the hens are loving it!

We have beautiful full to mini size lamancha kids. So far 2 bucklings and 3 doelings. All will be disbudded. Very nice udder genetics. Clean tested herd in 2023. Closed since.
Many more does will be delivering in the next few months! Located east of Florence Alabama.
