Dog Gone Ranch Continuing our new life adventures after over 40 years fishing and diving in Key West, FL. We have started a small hobby farm on 28 acres just north of Trenton FL, 30 miles west of Gainesville FL.

Well it's finally happening! We have a contract on our house, and will be moving to the Dog Gone Ranch, (Trenton Fl) May 20. Knee Deep boat got sold 2 days ago(that was bittersweet😬) and has gone to a great new home. We want to thank all of our clients over the past 30 years..Lots of great fishing, great friends and great memories!🎣❤️ On to the next adventure!

What a blast for Parker and Hunter! (Pella, Iowa) A Kingfish and a grouper(released) They also got their limit of yellowtail snapper and will be eating good!

What a great catch of the day for Carl and Jane Montgomery( Key West) along with friends Ding and Dan Hill (College Hill, TX) They limited out on mostly large yellowtails and landed 9 Bonita and a small cero mackerel. Green beer and a fresh fish lunch was enjoyed by all for St Patrick's day! ☘️🎣

Finally the wind laid down and the yellowtail bite was ON! Nick and Austin McVey (Kansas City and Chicago), along with Dave Ehrett(Pekin IL) and friend Fred Vang (Marathon) had a blast limiting out on yellowtail snapper. The first spot the fish were small, but the 2nd spot produced larger fish with a slight east tide. They also landed 4 Bonita, 5 remoras, a spade fish and released a barracuda off the kite.Tax collectors( lemon sharks) took their fair share.

Braving a stiff salty breeze and some of that gorgeous Key West sunshine Andrew Pung and Ryan Donovan (Minnesota) limited out on yellowtail snapper. They hooked up to a large grouper, only to pay the tax man, a big lemon shark ate half! They will be eating fresh yellowtail for the rest of their trip, mission accomplished! (Thanks Jennifer Pung Craft for the referral!)

It was a father daughter trip for Amy Loudenbeck(WI), Misty Miller (MI) and Wayne Miller (Key West) The sharks were in full swing on the reef and the tax man was paid accordingly. They landed several yellowtails, a cero mackerel and 3 small remoras. Family joined in for a fresh fish lunch back at the dock. Capt Kevin, Barbie and and puppers Ruby and Dori on deck.

Any day on a boat is a good day says George Mezinas, (NJ) Norm Riordan (Herscher Il) and Craig Burns (Springfield Il) Mother nature kicked up the winds but they held on and caught enough yellowtails for lunch. Craig landed the biggest fish of the day with a 6 lb mangrove snapper. A hammerhead shark also made a short appearance in the chum line. A huge turtle also gout on a good show for a short bit!
