Thank you to The Foodbank for this recognition. The Solvita team has an extraordinary capacity for giving that extends far beyond our walls and we were grateful to join in the fight. We applaud The Foodbank for its tireless mission to eliminate hunger in Montgomery, Greene, and Preble Counties!
Congratulations to Solvita for being recognized as a 2026 Volunteer Champion!
New partnerships have the power to create lasting impact, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to grow alongside dedicated community partners.
In 2025, Solvita partnered with us for their annual staff fundraiser. Through their Solving Hunger campaign, employees embraced multiple ways to support our mission, from making donations to volunteering their time through several shifts onsite in our warehouse and urban garden.
We’re thankful for their commitment to our community and honored to be selected once again as the beneficiary of their annual fundraiser this year. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference in the fight against hunger. ♥️

The Pride flag reminds us that life is a beautiful spectrum of experiences. This month, we’re proud to celebrate with the LGBTQIA+ community and honor the spirit of inclusivity that defines it.
At its heart, the mission of donation is about one human being helping another, a profound expression of love and community. We believe in a future where hope and healing are accessible to everyone, and we are proud to celebrate the unique beauty and strength that each individual brings to the world.
Today and every day, we stand with our LGBTQIA+ colleagues, donor families, and recipients. Let’s keep moving toward a more inclusive and compassionate world for all.

Memorial Day is a time to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who died in service to our country. As we reflect on their legacy, we are also reminded of the heroes who leave behind a legacy of life. Whether through service to our nation or the gift of donation, today we celebrate the spirit of selflessness that sustains us all.

National Women’s Health Week is a great reminder that our well-being is a gift. Whether it’s hitting a new fitness goal or making an informed decision about your legacy as a donor, being proactive about your health is the ultimate act of self-care. Let’s keep moving forward, together.

This Mother’s Day, we are honored to share a story of resilience from a daughter, wife, and mother of two whose life was transformed by tissue donation.
For Amy, the gift of life provided a path to healing and a chance to move forward for her young family.
“There are no words that can adequately express the gratitude I carry in my heart for the selflessness and generosity during what I know must have been an incredibly difficult time,” Amy says.
Today, she honors that legacy by living fully, loving deeply, and teaching her children the true meaning of kindness. We celebrate her journey and the enduring bond of generosity that makes these milestones possible.

What an inspiration! Thanks to Payton and Donate Life America for sharing her story.
Wright State University
"I received a heart transplant as a child. I was very young when my family got the call that a donor heart was available, and that call changed the entire course of my life. My donor was Christian Caruana. Because he was registered as an organ donor, and because his mom, Mary, said yes to organ donation in the middle of unimaginable grief, I am alive today. Because of that decision, I’ve been able to grow up. I’ve graduated. I’ve built a career. I’ve laughed with friends, loved deeply, and experienced milestones I never would have had without a transplant. Organ donation didn’t just save my life, it gave me a future.
When you register as a donor, you’re not just checking a box. You’re giving someone more birthdays, more ordinary days that feel extraordinary, more time with the people they love. I live every day grateful for the gift I was given. If you’ve ever considered registering, I hope my story encourages you to say yes." – Payton 💙💚 Register your decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor at RegisterMe.org today.

A mask might hide a face, but it can’t hide the resolve of a person dedicated to saving lives. During National Nurses Week, May 6-12, we want to show our appreciation to all nurses, including those helping transform the gift of life into healing. We see the individual, the professional, and the profound impact you make every single day.

Happy Star Wars Day!
We asked ourselves: what would Yoda say about organ, eye, and tissue donation?
"Register as a donor, you should. Save lives, you will. Powerful, the gift of donation is."
In all seriousness, the Force is real, and it shows up every time a donor family says yes. Today, be the Jedi someone needs.
