He is Risen! This one event has changed history! The Resurrection of Jesus has changed how we divide time, how nations have have been formed, how leaders have governed, how hospitals have served the sick and how the poor have been cared for.

The Resurrection of Jesus has changed some big things but its main purpose was to change individual lives like yours and mine. Jesus rising from the dead teaches us that sin has been paid for and that Death has been defeated. We can now have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We can have hope in a world that often seems overwhelming.

We invite and welcome you to come worship with us this morning at 10:00 as we celebrate Jesus victory over the grave!

Saturday was silent. No clarity. No answers. Jesus’ body had been taken down from the cross and buried in a tomb which was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers. It seemed like all was lost, like everyone who had followed Jesus had wasted their time and got it all wrong. Many followers didn’t know what to do now or where to go. It seemed like Jesus wasn’t the one they had been looking for after all. There must have been 100’s of questions running through the minds of His followers. It was a day of utter defeat. On Saturday, Jesus, dead and buried, “tasted death for everyone” Hebrews 2:9. In 24 hours, the entire course of history would change forever!
