Congratulations to Robert Ensign, a 1981 graduate of the Kettering College Physician Assistant Program, on receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award! 🎉

Bob’s incredible career—from being the first PA at Broward General Medical Center to contributing to LSU’s first pediatric heart transplant—exemplifies the values of dedication, innovation, and service that we hold dear at Kettering College. In addition to his clinical work, Bob’s commitment to medical education and disaster response has left a lasting impact on both the medical field and the community.

This week a team of our faculty presented at PAEA Forum 2024. A gathering of PA educators from around the world to share on best practices in PA education.

Timothy Scanlon, Elizabeth Diem, Sarah Brandell presented on our Multi-Layer Approach to Fostering Professionalism in PA students to equip them for success going into to clinical practice. Our work was also supported by Pamela Wireman.

One more day and it is officially Break!

Not every day in PA school is in front of the books. Some days we get to take off and serve our community. A mission of our program and a wonderful way to take a break during the didactic year!

October 6 is National Physician Assistant (PA) Day. The day was created to bring awareness to the profession that does so much to advance healthcare and patient care. Thank you to our PA faculty and staff who educate the next generation of PAs, and thank you to our PA students who have answered the call to such an important profession.
