My first time smoking moose ribs and they did not disappoint! Seasoned these with my custom blend of salt, pepper & garlic. Smoked them at 250 degrees. Thank you Clark & Seth for allowing me to cook these for you!

I’ve been helping with the Trunk or Treat @ North Point Higgins Elementary School for the last 9 -10 years. Usually I do a BBQ giveaway and raise money to purchase candy but I have so much going on this month that I had to change things up. Unfortunately, I will be out of town this year when this event happens.

Huge…I mean HUGE…thank you to Chris, Alan, Sara and all the staff at 3 Bears Saxman and 3 Bears Corporate for donating $1,000 dollars worth of candy. I was floored yesterday when I got the call about their generous donation. If you know me…you should know what my reaction was 👊.

Due to 3 Bears generosity, I decided to purchase an additional $500 dollars worth of candy to add to their donation!

I can’t give enough thanks at NPH for all you do for these kids…and to all the parents and volunteers who all come together to make this happen for all the kids. THANK YOU!

Today is the last day! Thank you to Credit Union 1 for donating the September food drive to the Grub Club so we can stock up the food pantries at the schools.

Thank you to Jackie Yates and the staff at the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition for make this organization a task force!

And…most importantly…THANK YOU..to each and every single one of you who donated or dropped off items! No child should have to worry about food!!!

It’s that time of the year!

Trick or Trunk at North Point Higgins Elementary School on 10/31 from 5pm to 7:30pm.

Goal to raise $1,500 dollars to purchase candy for the event!

I’m not doing a BBQ giveaway this year due to October being a busy month for me. Generally, I spend $500 dollars out of my pocket on food, and Facebook ads. This year I am matching the first $500 dollars raised with $500 out of my pocket.

If you want to donate a bag of candy you can drop it off at the front desk at North Point Higgins Elementary School or contact me to arrange to drop it off to me.
