Congratulations to AIGA KSU board members Maddie, Audrey, Alex, and Hannah who had their amazing work displayed at the VCD BFA show, as well as our peers who had stunning work in both the VCD BFA and Capstone shows. Great work everyone!😁

Huge THANK YOU to everyone that attended our ‘Hot Ones’ challenge yesterday, especially VCD Director Daniel Alenquer, professors David Roll and David Wilson, as well as our host, Matt Akos, for participating!!!🔥

This challenge was intense, but everyone managed to survive the heat til the end*

*excluding 2 gallons of milk, a half gallon of half & half, a pack of water, a tub of ice cream, and lots and lots of lime juice

All attendees had the opportunity to try the sauces at the end, and we can speak for everyone when we say do not mess with DA BOMB!🥵

This was our last event of the semester. Thank you everyone for a great school year and we can’t wait to be back in the Fall!🤩

Thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Letterpress Workshop’ hosted by graduate students Lauren and Danielle!🤩

We learned how to use the letterpress machine and made our own stamps. Everyone got to take home their stamp and the poster they made. It was such a great learning experience and a super fun process!

Huge shoutout to Katie and Jasen Melnick for speaking to VCD students about their branding and design studio, Fizz Creative! We took a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to design packaging and establish branding. They answered tons of student questions and made it a wonderful conversation. It was very inspirational and insightful. Thank you to Katie, Jasen, the attendees, and everyone who helped make this event a success!😊

We had an incredible experience attending the first-ever In-House In-Focus conference in Dallas, TX, last weekend! This event brought together an amazing community of creatives, and we’re beyond grateful for the opportunity to attend.

Meeting so many like-minded designers who are shaping the future of in-house design was truly a highlight.

A huge thank you to Kent State USG and Under Consideration for making this experience possible!
