RHS Maker Space

The Maker Space isn't up quite yet, so we're going to need your help to make it happen! We need donations to supply the students with what they will be using!
These are some of the things that we're looking for: soldering irons, electronic kits, hot glue guns and hot glue, recyclables, computers, small household appliances, a small TV, paint, brushes, staples, a whiteboard, dry erase markers, lockers, duct tape, paper, incandescent Christmas string lights, used computer components, and old or broken electronics and mechanical items. We also seek monetary donations for a 3-D printer to be purchased later on.
Any of these things would be greatly appreciated! The sooner we get the RHS Maker Space up and running, the better!

A maker space is a community center that provides technology, manufacturing equipment and educational opportunities to the student population of Kent. We look forward to encouraging the students in the Kent City School district to explore their creative mindset and make their ideas come to life in a supportive environment.
