Ronnie Lee Lent Obituary Sep 23, 2026 - Keizer Funeral Chapel 10/02/2026

Ronnie Lee Lent

Ronnie (Ron) Lee Lent Sr., a cherished father, beloved partner, proud grandfather, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 23, 2026. Born on January 31, 1967, in Salem, Oregon, to Alfred and Karen Lent, Ron lived a life defined by hard work, love, humor, and devotion to the people he cared about most.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Lent and his brother, Phillip Lent. He is survived by his mother, Karen Lent; his children, Joshua Thomas, Ronnie Lee Lent Jr., Tasha Rash, and Ryan Lent; his longtime partner, Janice Lent; his brothers, Rick Lent, Rodney Lent, and Darand Davies; his sisters, Vickie Lent Ames and Janie Lent; blended family members, Brad and Cody Brooks; and his beloved dog, Beth. He was also a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren each of whom brought him tremendous joy and pride.

Ron dedicated nearly 40 years to the masonry industry, becoming a skilled craftsman and foreman who took great pride in his work. If you live in the Salem area, you have most certainly walked through or passed by something Ron helped create-a lasting testament to his skill, dedication, and incredible work ethic.

But Ron was so much more than his work. He found happiness in the simple things: sitting by the water, playing his guitar, fishing, firing up the grill, having long conversations, and spending time with the people he loved. He had a quick wit, a sarcastic sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and a gift for storytelling that could turn even an ordinary conversation into a cherished memory.

Ron had a way of making people feel at home. He was generous, dependable, and deeply caring beneath his sarcastic exterior. Above all, he loved his family. His children, partner, grandchildren, family, and friends were at the heart of his life, and the laughter, stories, and countless moments he shared with them will continue to live on.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held October 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Minto-Brown Island Park. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, tell stories, and celebrate Ron's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory may be made to the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Kraft Masonry Inc. for their kindness and support.

Ron leaves behind a legacy built with both his hands and his heart. His laughter will be remembered, his stories will be retold, and his love will live on through the family he cherished so deeply. He will be missed dearly.

Beverly Ann Tincknell passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, at the age of 101, with family by her side.

Beverly was born June 23, 1925, in DeForest, Wisconsin, to Ruben and Anna Boehm. When she was 13, she and her three sisters moved with the family to Oregon, where she grew up helping in the onion fields on the family farm. She graduated from Salem High School (now North Salem).

Soon after graduation, Bev became the secretary for Labish Brokerage Co. in Brooks, where she worked for 27 years. It was there she met the love of her life, Jack, then a long-haul truck driver. After a short courtship, they married at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Salem in June, 1970.

Family was Bev's greatest joy. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. She treasured time with family and stayed close to them all her life. Bev and Jack lived in Turner from 1970 to 1978, where she earned her brokerage license and sold real estate at the family real estate office. In 1978, they moved to Springfield and opened their own real estate office. In 1990, they bought a home in Keizer to be closer to family. They later lived for nine years at Willamette Lutheran Home (now Clearlake Homes). Bev passed away a short time after moving to Fieldstone Village at Keizer Ridge.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Muriel Ditchen (Carl) and Rojean Danilson (Larry). She is survive by Jack, her husband of 56 years; her sister, Betty Lou Biggs (Barry) of Seattle; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Her loving nature and sharp memory stayed with her until the very end.
