Sorry. I think I've seen enough signs by now to know my album was never ment to be. Whether it's moving, pc crashing, lack of inspiration, recordings not coming out clean, family issues.......this has been a continuous theme over the 15 years+ working on this. It was supposed to be an album that told the story of my battles with addiction. In order to finish this, I have to open myself up and that always just leads to problems. Life was better when I left that s**t bottled up and buried away. So I've given this allot of thought and this is not taken lightly and I'm calling it a day. Thanks for the support. Sorry I wasted your time. Maybe one day some year, I'll release the stuff I've recorded.

Go figure, I'm trying so hard to finish this album and another speed bump comes. First, the audio tracks weren't coming out clean, then I get those corrected and record clean tracks. Then pro tools starts crashing like crazy so I switch to reaper. That works for a while but when I go to mix, the sounds all fuzzy. So I export my tracks and go back to pro tools and the sound on it is all fuzzy on playback. Wtf. Time to try cakewalk or audacity next.

Been working on building an isolation booth for recording. But there's 1 rule I have always tried to follow when building anything. Use reclaimed and salvaged material for as much of the build as possible. Well.....outside walls are from plywood from my old job. Same with some of the wood I framed it with. Most of the framing was built with wood from a false wall I had taken out. The other day, a friend of mine Derek hooked me up with some descend sized carpet and some dynamat. I'll post more pics as I make progress.

What a beautiful weekend for a much needed reset for my mind and body. Thursday I'll be continuing the work needed on the next song to be released. I'll keep the updates coming and video snippets from the studio.

The almighty Trey Xavier reviewed one of my songs on his live stream. Looks like I've got some editing to do and I've decided to have my good friend Jawshwaa do the vocals for me. Other than vocals, he said I've got something good going. In the meantime, I'm going to continue practicing and learning to sing.

Check out my first video. I wrote this song when I was heavy in addiction and this song is part of how I got clean. I knew I didn't want to die but.....at that time I thought unaliving myself was the only way out. That was when I realized that I could just unalive the addict side of me and hope there was enough of me to put back together after all was said and metaphorically done. Well it worked.
