When you come in as Shadow and Goblin (bonded) around Halloween and then get adopted together to an amazing family that has many SMRS alums. What more could you want? ❤️🥰❤️🥰🫶🏻🫶🏻

Clarence had his dental and did great. He did lose 8 rotten teeth that were infected, but he is now on medication and is feeling better. He was under anesthesia too long to get his neuter so that will be done in a few weeks. After that this active 8 year old boy will be looking for his forever home!

From being loose on the street as an unloved backyard breeder, to finding her forever sun spot with her own bed and two brothers she doesn’t have to share with, Mummy ‘Lucy’ is home! She has been adopted. ❤️❤️❤️

Also, please welcome George to SMRS. His owner had to go to assisted living and the family was not able to keep him. He is 1 year old and has been fully vetted. He will be ready soon. He is nervous with the transition and is decompressing. ❤️

Please welcome Ruby Sue to SMRS! She’s a cutie little girl, 1 year old, 15 lbs, that is an owner surrender. She is getting vetted and we hope she is available soon! We are still working on the website issues and trying to get all the new dogs uploaded. We are working on setting up new donation methods as requested-Venmo, Zelle and PayPal all with QR codes! Stay tuned!

Please welcome Clarence to SMRS. He comes to us from a local shelter. He needs a good bath a wipe down. He we be fully vetted, neutered and have a dental. He has very bad dental disease. He will also have bladder X-rays as he has a uti with possible stones. He is an active, vocal, senior boy. We estimate 7-9 years. Stay tuned for updates and if you would like to donate to his care we would greatly appreciate it. Our vet bills are very high!!!

I’m not sure why we have the Inn when 3 fosters are at the vet and the others slept on my lap all night!!! Diapers for everyone. ❤️❤️

To all my Short Muggers out there….Pilgrim will get his neuter at the regular vet. We’ve had 3 consultations about his ears. It’s going to run around 7k. We are begging for donations as this sweet boy is laying beside me on the couch.

Please welcome new boy Nicholas. He was lovingly surrendered by a family member when his owner died. They met us at Gulf Coast Specialist while Sweet Potato had her dermatologist appointment. He’s a very sweet boy! He will be getting his neuter next week and annuals along with Autumn and Beulah getting spays and annuals. Lots of moving parts. Pilgrim had his surgery appointment too for his ears. We will update on that in another post.

Our waiting list includes 4 frenchies and 12 bulldogs. All rescues are being inundated with dogs. If you could donate any little bit helps.
