August is right around the corner — and it's one of our busiest months.

If you've got a college student heading to a dorm, or you're a teacher prepping for a new school year, we are ready.

Here's what we handle for back-to-school season:
— Care packages (fragile, heavy, bulky — we pack it all)
— Dorm ship-ahead: send the stuff that won't fit in the car before move-in
— Classroom printing: worksheets, syllabi, activity packets
— Document copies for move-in paperwork and leases

Start planning now. We work best with a week of lead time — and move-in weekends fill up fast.

Stop by or give us a call.

One brochure.
Three completely different ways to tell the story.

Tri-fold helps organize lots of information.

Half-fold gives your message room to breathe.

Gate-fold creates a memorable reveal that feels more premium.

The fold isn't just about appearance,it changes how someone experiences your message.

Not sure which one fits your project? Check out our blog 👇

Tri-Fold vs. Half-Fold vs. Gate-Fold Brochures | PostNet 07/28/2026

Running a market booth or pop-up this summer?

There's one thing we see people overlook all the time.

They spend weeks getting ready for the event—but forget to plan what happens after someone discovers their business.

Think beyond the table.
• Brochures people actually take home
• QR cards that lead directly to your website
• Branded thank-you inserts that turn first-time buyers into repeat customers
• A shipping plan for online orders while you're busy selling in person

A little planning now makes the entire event work harder for your business.

Choosing a brochure isn't just about what you want to say—it's about how you want people to experience it.

Some messages are best organized into sections. Others deserve big visuals and plenty of breathing room. And sometimes, you want to create a memorable first impression before someone even opens the brochure.

That's why there isn't one "best" brochure fold.

Whether you're creating service guides, event handouts, product brochures, or marketing materials, we'll help you choose the format that works best for your message.

Every box has a story.
Some are birthday gifts headed across the country. Others are products for customers, business documents, or travel gear on its way to a vacation destination.

That's one of the things we love most about working at PostNet—no two shipping days are exactly alike.

So we're curious...

What's usually in the box you're shipping?
📦 Gifts
🛍️ Online orders
💼 Business materials
🎒 Travel gear

Instead of checking oversized bags, consider shipping ahead:
• Golf clubs
• Strollers and car seats
• Extra luggage for longer trips
• Outdoor and sports equipment

We'll professionally pack your items, compare rates across multiple carriers, and help you choose the shipping option that gets everything there before you arrive.

Travel lighter. We'll take care of the rest.

One question we hear almost every day:
"Which carrier should I use?"

The honest answer?
It depends.

A package headed across town has different needs than one headed overseas. Timing, destination, package size, and cost all play a role.

That's why we compare UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL for you—so you don't have to figure it out on your own.

Bring in your package, tell us when it needs to arrive, and we'll help you find the best option. Learn more on our blog:

Private vs. Virtual Mailbox for Home Businesses | PostNet 07/09/2026

A mailbox isn't just a place for your mail.

For many small business owners, it's a professional business address, added privacy, and one less reason to share a home address with customers.

Whether you're opening a new business or simply ready for a more professional setup, we're here to help you find the mailbox option that fits your needs.

Stop by anytime—we're always happy to answer questions.

Private Mailbox or Virtual Mailbox?
"Wait... what's the difference?"

We hear that question all the time.
The answer is pretty simple.

A Private Mailbox gives you a secure street address where you pick up your mail in person.
A Virtual Mailbox gives you that same professional address, but lets you securely manage your mail from anywhere.

Neither is better. It just depends on how you work. Learn more on our blog.

Got a destination wedding on the calendar this summer?

Imagine this. You design the welcome bags at home — a printed itinerary card, a pack of local snacks, sunscreen, a guest gift. You bring everything to the counter on a Wednesday afternoon, two weeks before the wedding.

We pack 25 welcome bags into shipping cartons, label them for the resort, and ship them to land the day before guests arrive — quoted across UPS and FedEx so you’re paying for the right speed, not the default speed.

And you? You get to show up to your wedding without a suitcase full of tote bags.

Got a destination wedding coming up? Stop in — we’ll map the ship-ahead timeline with you.

First week of June is wild around here. Graduations, weddings, summer trips, end-of-school packages.
If your week looks anything like ours, here’s your friendly reminder: we can knock something else off your list while you’re here for the one thing you came in for. We are more than your mailing partner.

Drop in. We’ll figure it out.

06/02/2026

June is a month of celebrations and travel. Here’s what people don’t always realize we handle, all under one roof:
— Wedding and event invitations (print + mail in one stop)
— Passport photos
— Multi-carrier shipping for packages, big or small
— Mailbox rentals and mail hold for travelers

Whatever your June looks like — wedding season, summer travel, a mid-year reset — there’s a good chance we can help make it easier.

Got a project on your plate this month? Stop in and ask.

Are you launching a product this quarter?

If you've got a launch date on the calendar — pre-orders, a drop, an open-cart day — the part that decides whether the first big day actually works isn't the launch tweet. It's the print and ship decisions you make in the month before it.

Imagine your next 30 days.
Branded mailers printed and stored, ready to grab. Printed thank-you cards in a stack. Reorder inserts cut and folded.

The owners who win the launch are the ones who had the print stack ready before launch day, not after. The ones who scramble are the ones who treated print as a launch-week problem instead of a launch-month one.

If you've got a launch on the calendar, the cheapest insurance you can buy is to set the print and ship before you share the launch post on social.

Have a launch on your calendar? PostNet has you covered.

Are you moving this year?

If your move involves "the small stuff" — kids' books, kitchen tools, photos, the sentimental things that don't justify a full moving service — there's a third option between hauling it all yourself and paying for a partial move.

You can ship it.

Bring us a stack of boxes (or let us pack them), tell us where they're going and when, and we'll quote across multiple carriers — picking the cheapest carrier per box that still arrives the same week you do. Labeled by room, ready to land where they need to land.

For a lot of cross-country downsizing moves, this kind of split — full movers for the heavy stuff, ship the rest — comes in under a partial-move quote.

Got a move on the calendar? Stop in — we'll work the math with you.

Graduation season is a print-and-mail season masquerading as a ceremony.

Custom announcements. Coordinating envelopes. Photo prints in frame-ready sizes. Banners for the backyard party. Thank-you cards for after. And shipping the gift to the cousin who can't make the drive.

Got a grad in the family? Stop by PostNet — we'll map the print + mail timeline with you.

05/21/2026

Travel season is here. A short list of things people don’t realize we handle, in one stop, before you head out:

Passport photos — in under five minutes, no appointment.
Document copies — lease, insurance, license, prescription. Print + digital backups.
Mailbox — we’ll hold your mail and packages while you’re away.
Notary — power of attorney for the house-sitter, or any rental contract you need before you go.
Ship-ahead — send heavy or fragile items to your destination so you don’t fly with them.

Got a trip on the calendar? Stop in — we’ll knock out the prep list together.

A quiet stat from the counter — a sample of what came across our desk on one Tuesday last week:

— A passport photo for a kid's first family trip
— A notary stamp on a real-estate closing
— A first round of business cards for a freelance designer
— A mailbox rental for someone who'd just moved
— A box of printed wedding programs

There's no checklist for "things to bring to PostNet." Just stop in. If it touches paper, packages, signatures, or print — we probably handle it.

A quick poll for everyone who’s shipped or printed something with us recently:

What’s the one task you wish you’d known we could handle the FIRST time you stopped in?

A. Notary / document signing
B. Passport photos
C. Print + ship the same project in one stop

Drop your answer in the comments.

A couple designed their wedding invitations online but had no idea where to print 80 on heavyweight cardstock and also address them, stamp them, and get them in the mail before within the week.

In one stop: printed, addressed (machine-printed addressing or hand-addressing — they chose machine-printed), stuffed, sealed, stamped, and dropped them in outbound mail. Big to-do, done. RSVPs started coming back the next week.

Got a wedding, graduation, or shower coming up? Stop in — we’ll handle the print + mail in one stop.
