Friends of Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be holding a Books Sale on Saturday, September 12, from 9 am to 2 pm in the meeting room.

A variety of books are available, including fiction, nonfiction, children’s, classics, paperback books.

If you love a bargain, you will find a lot at the used-book sale, where most items range from $1 to $2.

August 13 is Left Handers Day! Celebrate and learn about the left-handed folks in your life by reading about being left handed.

Programs for children resume the week of August 10. Mother Goose Time and Pajama Night Story Time will start back up on Tuesday, August 11. Family Story Time will start Wednesday, August 12, and Toddler Time and Preschool Story Time will start on Thursday, August 13.

Today's New Book highlight from the Youth collection is "Once Upon a You," by Keyshawn Johnson. In his first book for kids, Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL Pro Bowler Keyshawn Johnson shows kids everywhere that they can be the authors of their own destinies.

English-language learners of any level are invited to join us for our ESL Conversation Circle on Fridays, August 7 & 14, at 2 pm, and Monday, August 17, at 6 pm. Practice casual conversation in English in a friendly, relaxed environment! Registration is not required, but space is limited, so please come early. 💬

The coloring pages for 2026's Fort Bend County Fair Coloring Contest are now available at Cinco Ranch Branch Library!

Only one entry per child. Entrants must be in grades Kindergarten through 5.

Completed entries may now be submitted at the library; scanned and emailed to [email protected]; or mailed by post to the Extension Office at 1402 Band Road, Suite 100, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

All entries must be submitted on or by September 8, 2026.

Join us Saturday, August 15, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, for a hands-on screen-printing workshop. This event is for teens (grades 9 - 12). Materials for this event are generously provided by our Friends of the Cinco Ranch Branch Library. Supplies are limited and registration is required.
