A group from our team went to Philadelphia, PA for one of our favorite conferences:
This was a chance for us to network, learn, and grow from other individuals and organizations who are doing boots on the ground work in organizing for a more equitable and just world.
We also had a wonderful time exploring the rich culture of Philadelphia!
Happy Friday!
What do we do with all of these car seat boxes before we recycle? We play! Even when weβre tired. π΄
We hope you get to sleep in this weekend! π

May is Mental Health Awareness month. We do not have to carry our burdens alone. ππ
Social Determinants of Mental Health are shaped by social, economic, and environmental factors. Many common mental health struggles are a result of unfair systems, inequalities, and redlining. CHC works to bridge gaps in care and help everyone gain access to the health and mental health care they need.
Here are ways CHC can assist community members on their mental health journey:
πConnect with our Community Health Workers! Our CHWs can assist with getting connected to mental health services. visit wycohealth.com/gethelp
πJoin Fathers United - a peer support group to educate, support, and empower fathers in their journey through fatherhood.
πFollow WyCo Mutual Aid and attend a community event centered around joy and togetherness.
