Sunrise Center Animal Rescue
A 501c3 non-profit rescue that provides access to low-cost veterinary services for low-income families.
Rescue for felines and equines to educate people on the importance of spay/neuter, to assist them in getting access to services and to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals that have been discarded, abused and neglected. We place our rescued animals into wonderful forever homes. Our cats are in foster homes or on-site and available by appointment. Our horses and cats are at our stable which is open from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM M-S.
Our newest edition, Julius, would like to spend his lunch time showing you why you should bring him home!
This orange, adult cat has been through quite a lot in his life, but still manages to trust and love humans❤️Julius is a prime example why we rescue: we help and live those in need.
He will be ready to adopt in a few weeks, but be sure to get your application in now so you can “skip the line” for this handsome boy!

Sunrise Friends, we try to get adoptions right the first time. Unfortunately Biscuit joined a home with a feline sibling and. . . wasn’t having it. So the adopter worked with us to find a rehoming option that would meet our normal adoption criteria. And Biscuit (now Jack) will be an only cat to these beautiful little girls. Their grandmother Michelle is also a Sunrise adopter, having taken two cats home just over a year ago!
Biscuit/Jack is once again a good boy in his more comfortable situation.
Rehoming can be stressful and often sad for the adopters and the pets but sometimes is for the best. Thanks to the first adopter for going the extra mile to sort things out, and for the new family opening their hearts to a great new addition!

❣️We are in need of SMALL blankets❣️
Normally, we have a pretty big stock of throw blankets that we use daily for our cats. Within recent months, the pile has slowly began to dwindle as blankets have become well loved.
We are in need of:
✅ New or Gently Used Throw Blankets
✅ New or Gently Used Twin Blankets
✅ New or Gently Used Baby Blankets
We do NOT need
❌ Sheets
❌ Comforters
❌ Queen or King sized blankets
❌ Pet Beds
❌ Towels
If you have some spare, small blankets that are taking up space in your closets at home, please consider donating them to us during open hours today from 12-3pm or on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-7pm.
The kitties will appreciate you giving them something comfortable to sleep on❤️
