Another fun visit & great to meet Malari & her Dad Sam from Murray, UT. The "Kids" loved the attention & Boo actually took a carrot from Sam! (He's rather picky who he socializes with). Joie (mini donkey) has come such a long way, he's 32 now & only has 3 teeth left. Great day...come back anytime!

Welcome to Utah...rain clouds, 25mph winds, no rain, woke up to 29 degrees, frost on the bunkhouse and we're in a drought...gotta love it😁

Carrots for all...thanks to Carol & Bruce from St George. The "Kids" always enjoy having visitors, us too. They got to meet the mini's, Whinny & Dreamer, also Joie (32yr old mini Donkey). The big "Kids"
were in the front pasture. Fun day!

Had a great time with new visitors from Cedar City, Utah. They're planning to possibly adopt 4 Donkeys from BLM & wanted to come
see how great Donkeys really are. Brian & Marie were quite a hit with the "Kids" bringing carrots. Come back anytime! Thanks again
for your wonderful donation. (Tilly's the draft mule)

It's been a while since I've written, life has been full of chaos & loss the last several months. I'd first like to say thank you to the wonderful people who have made donations, it truly helps. Some I've known most my life, some I've never met. Karon Humphreys, Jim Wilkins, Linda Stokes, Shawn Troeger, Elizabeth Dylan Fisher, Karin Hamilton, Diane Gill, Janice Bailey & others on FB. Also to Shannon Bolin & Betty Colston for their monthly support. Betty is a gem & the patience of a saint for my questions about the computer that I can hardly tolerate. Our website is still not working properly but that's next on the list. Sadly, when Kerri passed her knowledge of it was also gone.

Festus made it another Christmas! But it was short lived & he passed a couple days ago. We always told visitors he was "old as dirt" probably close to or over 40yrs. His large helicopter ears hung down & his hee haw was faint & could make you laugh. Such a great guy! He came to us many yrs ago with his poor skinny legs that had been stripped of hair & chewed up by flies. Allot of the hair didn't come back so we had to keep fly spray on him all the time. I know the years he spent with us were probably his best. He could be quite a character but dearly loved, will miss him so much.

Joie & all the "Kids" had visitors all the way from Washington State. Kathrine found out just how much Joie loves to be brushed. Almost falling over & his tongue just about in the dirt😆Joie 's 27 this year & only 3 teeth. Thanks Kathrine, Cal, Linda & Ken. Joie says "HI"

Twice a year we're blessed to receive coupons worth $300 for Purina Senior. Thanks to AHFEH (A Home For Every Horse), UHC (United Horse Coalition) & Purina. We have several "Kids" that are older "Hard Keepers" for maintaining weight and they greatly appreciate it.

Our dear friend Kerri passed away suddenly from heart failure. She was such a great friend & helped us so much with our Sanctuary. Incredibility talented, she designed our logo's, set up our website & FB page. Kerri moved to Cedar after losing the love of her life Bobby. She & her dog Lulu lived with her beautiful daughter Sunny & family. She planned to build on her property...but she was meant to come visit our 1877 Victorian. I knew as soon as she came in she was home. She bought the house & loved decorating, cooking & having friends & family over. A true treasure & dearly loved. Seen here on our back porch in Panguitch...had a great time!
