Living with diabetes or even prediabetes can feel overwhelming, but it is manageable. Small, consistent steps can make a big difference in your health and daily life. Follow these tips to ensure you feel your best and stay in control!

Tonight's Hero of the Home Series first pitch with the Glacier Range Riders is Kaysin. When she was just 18 months old, she began experiencing seizures and faced significant challenges with mobility and development. After years of testing and treatment, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
Kaysin learned to walk using braces and a walker, overcoming obstacles that most children never have to face. Her determination never wavered. Today, she is walking on her own, getting stronger every day, and even beginning to reduce her use of braces.
Full of joy, resilience, and independence, Kaysin continues to show everyone around her what is possible through hard work and perseverance. Join us in cheering her on!

Through a generous donation from Don "K" Whitefish and Blood Cancer United, Logan Health received 80 warm blankets today. Thank you! These blankets, shaped like a heart that can be unzipped and opened flat, will be given to our cancer patients receiving treatment. Don "K" Whitefish staff also wrote notes of encouragement to our patients. Anyone can leave a supporting message for our patients on the blue board near our Hematology & Oncology clinic at 350 Heritage Way, or here in the comment section.

Recognizing the challenges many patients face traveling long distances for treatment, a team of oncology nurses at Logan Health set out to improve the patient experience. Their solution was a nurse-led patient education program paired with a redesigned clinical workflow. It has expanded access to cancer treatment, reduced delays in care and earned national recognition from one of the world’s leading oncology nursing organizations. Congratulations to our team! Logan Health urologic surgeons recently performed the first Aquablation therapy procedure in the region, offering a new treatment option for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate.
Aquablation therapy is one of the newest treatment options for BPH and offers long-lasting symptom relief while reducing some of the risks associated with other surgical treatments. The minimally invasive procedure combines real-time imaging, robotics and heat-free waterjet ablation to precisely remove enlarged prostate tissue. Because this treatment does not use heat and allows for precise targeting of tissue, surrounding nerves and structures are preserved, helping minimize the risk of complications that can affect erectile, ejaculatory and urinary function.
