Remi rolling off on the pole, and Dad starts 3rd!

The 17R is getting its last bit of rest before making a weekend full of excitement at KAM Kartway this weekend!!!

Season Opener at KAM Kartway!!!
Remi drew a 15, which means he would start Pole position for his heat race. After a very defensive race with another fast kart, he would end up 2nd.
For the Feature, what is normally a 15 lap race. Remi would start in 4th. After what seemed like 10 cautions, the kids made 60 laps around the track. Remi kept his cool, stuck to his line, and his foot in the floor. Avoiding several laps cars, wrecks and spinouts, remi would come home with a 2nd place finish!!

At the last KAM Kartway race for the Short track Shootout. Remi would sign in for Jr1 against 11 other drivers. Friday nights heat race he would go from 4th to 2nd. And Saturday Nights heat he would go from 3rd to 2nd. Starting 7th in the A-Main. After several cautions on lap 1 remi would get tangled up with another kart and restart 10th. After several laps and coming to the checkered flag he would come home in 4th. He did a great job navigating traffic, and passing competition, sticking to his line and what he knows on the track. Very proud of him.
Dad would race Saturday night against 11 other drivers. During hot laps, we knew something wasnt right, engine kept cutting out. Changed a couple things, went for the heat race and only made it to turn 2 before having to pull in. Checkered everything again, found out the fuel pump was bad. Slapped a new one on, and started 12th for the A-Main. Finally thr kart was working as it should. Ended up passing 3 other karts in a green to checkered race, and would finish 8th, with the Hard Charger Award.

Remi will be heading southwest this weekend, to finish off the MWRS Indoor Winter Series. Racing for 2 days, 2 full shows, and hopefully coming home with some hardware!!! We are still looking for sponsors, and some small help with his fundraiser. Wish him luck!!!

We have officially wrapped up the 2025 season.
Remi finished 4th place in overall points in JR1 at KAM Kartway.
And Quinlan will receive a championship trophy for her Young Gun Class.
Remi had a great year showing alot of improvement for his first year in a competitive class. And Quinlan finished up the year with her fastest lap time of the year in her last race.
