FREE CLASSES SET TO START IN OCTOBER
Classes in nutrition, legal issues and home and fire safety are among those planned at the town's Senior Academy scheduled to start Oct. 2. Classes are free and open to Jupiter residents only. The classes are geared to those older than 55, but there is no age limit.
Classes are from 1-4 p.m. each Wednesday during October at the Community Center, 200 Military Trail. Info: www.jupiter.fl.us or 561-741-2278.
GARAGE SALE, CRAFT SHOW AT JUPITER LANES
Jupiter Lanes, at 350 Maplewood Dr. will host a hometown garage sale, craft show and local market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat. 9/28. The event is free and includes arts and crafts, local growers, music, food and drinks. The vendor cost is $15 a stall. Info: 561-743-9200.

ADULT ATHLETIC LEAGUES - Winter Softball Leagues
The Town of Jupiter Recreation Division will be holding the following adult softball leagues starting in early December: Men's Softball League on Monday nights, Men's Softball League on Tuesday and Thursday nights, Co-Ed Softball League on Wednesday nights, and Men's Church Softball League on Friday nights. APPLY FOR SPACE FOR CATAMARAN ON BEACH
Applications will be accepted beginning Oct 1 for the eight catamaran spaces on the beach north of the Jupiter Reef Club. TOWN CENTER HOSTS FOOD TRUCK INVASION
Abacoa Town Center on Town Center Dr. will host a Food Truck Invasion from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesday 9/25. More than 30 food trucks will prepare cooked-to-order comfort foods, fusion cuisine, sweet treats and other items.
