If mindfulness is to matter in a world like this, it may need to deepen not only our awareness, but also our discernment, our steadiness, and our concern for one another, since we are connected and interdependent. Our well-being depends on how we care for one another and the planet we share. Perhaps mindfulness practiced with an ethical frame can help us see what the Artemis II crew is seeing this week: one Earth, shared by all of us, fragile, beautiful, and asking something of us.
