Thinking of taking a Royal Caribbean cruise? You’re in luck, gregorio_adventures is our resident RCCL expert!

Here are some tips when cruising on Royal Caribbean. Embarkation Day Edition:

• Board Early to maximize your first day on the ship
• Get your Muster Drill done and out of the way
• Wear a swimsuit when you board and pack a change of dry clothes in your carry on. Doing this allows you to take advantage of no lines for the slides.
• Don’t forget to hit the Windjammer for an all you can eat Seafood Buffet Royal Caribbean Style.
• Listen for the all clear around 1PM to get in your stateroom. This allows you to meet your stateroom attendant and put in any special requests you have for your room on the cruise.

🚨BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Wishes do come true! I’ve been waiting for Disney to bring back the ability to schedule Genie+ BEFORE my trip!

Here’s what I know:

✨Starts July 24, 2024
✨New, simpler names provide more clarity. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass & Individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.
✨We can make Lightning Lane plans before your vacation. 
✨Choose experiences and times prior to purchasing, so you know what you’re getting
✨Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where you can secure a time to ride one of the highly demanded attractions, but now you can do so in advance.  
✨Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels (Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels) will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance for their entire stay (up to 14 days).
✨Off property guests can plan up to 3 days in advance.
✨You may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both.
✨The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.
