⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT: The Egan-Vanderbilt intersection is getting an upgrade. When complete, the project will improve safety, increase efficiency, and allow free-flow, non-stop southbound traffic heading toward downtown.

Construction is anticipated to begin May 27, 2026.

What to expect:

🚧 Vanderbilt Hill Road will be CLOSED from May 27 - July 31, 2026. Drivers traveling to or from the Lemon Creek area will need to detour via Glacier Highway, using the following routes:

🔹Southbound from the Valley: Use the detour exit at the Sunny Point Intersection
🔹Northbound from Downtown: Use the detour exit at the Hospital Intersection

🚧 Reduced Speed Zone: Expect a 45 MPH speed limit on Egan Drive for approximately one quarter-mile approaching the Vanderbilt intersection from both the north and south.

🟢 During construction, both southbound and northbound lanes on Egan Drive will have a continuous green light while Vanderbilt Hill Rd. is closed.

🚧 Work Zone Safety: Fines are doubled in work zones. Please slow down, stay alert, and watch for crews in this area.
