Can I be honest about something?

AI isn’t coming for your job.

It’s changing how you do your job.

Six months ago, people were using AI to write captions.

Now? People are using it to speed up entire workflows.
Even for me, things that used to take hours, like removing backgrounds, extending images, or creating graphics, I can now do in seconds.

But here’s the gap I’m seeing…

A lot of people are either:
•using AI as-is
•or not using it at all

And that’s exactly why AI graphics still feel… cookie cutter.

Because the goal isn’t to let AI design for you.

It’s to use AI as your starting point and then layer your own creativity on top of it.

That’s what I’m teaching on Day 3 at AI Unlocked (May 12–14).

I’m speaking on how to create your own website graphics with AI
so your site actually feels like you, not like a template.

If your website looks fine but feels like something’s missing… this will click.

Free ticket is available, but if you know you won’t have time to watch everything (45+ sessions 😅) in 3 days, the $47 all-access pass gives you lifetime access.

Okay, real question… have you been putting off your website?

I know how hard it can be to create your own website.

There’s so much overthinking. You’re not sure where to start. Between the tech, the copy, the photos, SEO, and the design, it can feel overwhelming fast.

That’s exactly why I created this workshop.

The Huddle Juneau and I are hosting a Website in a Weekend Workshop this April 23-24 1-4pm and the waitlist is now open.

This is a simple, guided way to get your website done without the overwhelm. Over two days, we’ll build a one-page website together that’s clear, professional, and ready to launch.

From there, you’ll have the confidence to keep building and growing your site as your business evolves.

If building your website has been on your list for a while, this is your sign to finally get it done.

How is it already October?

Ten months into the year, and if I had to sum it up in one word it’s ‘balance’. Finding it. Creating it. Fighting for it.

This summer started slow, but eventually we got some sun. My sons first birthday landed on one of the few sunny days, and we made the most of it with a backyard waterslide and soaking in the sun.

In August we took a trip to Anchorage to the Alaska State Fair, we packed into an Airbnb, ate too much fair food, saw Journey live, and made a core memory: my 4 year old finally got to see monster trucks in real life. It was his dream. But he was so exhausted by day three, he passed out an hour in… noise-canceling headphones and all 😂, it was worth it.

Recently we also visited friends in Washington where I drove on the freeway for the first time ever. Scary, but it reminded me that I can still do new things even when I’m outside my comfort zone.

And somewhere in all that family, memories and travel, I kept the business running.

This year I invested in a coach (Amber McCue, you’re the best), and honestly? Game changer. Having someone to check in with, bounce ideas off of, attending group calls with other like minded entrepreneurs has made business feel a lot less lonely.

I also ran my first webinar 😅, which was equal parts exciting and terrifying. So much behind the scenes work.

And probably the biggest shift, I learned how to block my calendar in a way that actually works for my schedule. One website client per month. That’s it. It’s helped me stay present, serve well, and still show up for my family. And surprisingly? People booked it out months in advance.

It’s been a big, full, beautifully imperfect year.

And now… it’s October. Our favorite. Bring on the costumes, candy, and spooky vibes.

I thought I'd be back to podcasting by now.

But truthfully? After maternity leave, getting back into a groove this year has been…slow and a little messy.

So I hit pause.

Not forever, just for now, because right now looks like toddler and baby wrangling, DIY Your Brand marketing and chasing slivers of summer before they slip away.

One thing I did manage? I hopped on the Landmark Collective podcast with Amanda up in Anchorage. We chatted about DIY websites, why even a simple one page side can make your business feel real, grounded, and ready.

It reminded me that momentum doesn’t always mean more. Sometimes, it just means starting.
Putting something simple out there.

If you want to hear our convo or peek what I’ve been building, links are below.

And if you’re craving clarity on your brand visuals, I’ll be teaching live in September—DIY Your Brand in 5 Days (Sept 8–12), with a free masterclass Your Brand But Better - 5 DIY Strategies for a Stand Out Brand on Sept 3 to kick things off.

My first website? Sooo Plain. A watercolor blob, minimal text, no personality, just… there.

And honestly? That’s how it is for most people when they start out.
When clients come to me, they often say the same thing:
“My site feels bland. It doesn’t feel like me.”

What’s usually missing is branding.
The color palette. The fonts. The little visual details that make you stand out

That’s the part that gives your business (and website) the personality your looking for.

And it’s exactly what we’ll build, step by step, inside my DIY Your Brand course. I’m running it live September 8-12, 2025, so if you want to create a brand that actually feels like you, with a pro in your corner, now’s the time.

✨ I can’t stop smiling, this logo looks AMAZING on the boat!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Jayleen on the Glacier Girl logo, featuring the iconic Mendenhall Glacier (of course) and those unmistakable peaks we all know and love.

But you know my favorite detail that I think really made this logo pop? Jayleen’s brilliant idea to remove the white stroke behind the mountains, a simple change that brings a sense of dimension to the logo. Game-changer!

That’s the magic of collaboration: when every voice in the process matters and makes the design better.

I’m so proud of how this turned out. What do you think of Glacier Girl? 💙🛥❄️
