Community Clean Up In Progress

I have created this page to show the efforts my supporters and I are making to clean up the trash in my community of Juneau, Ak. Venmo @Leticia-McRae-1.
Paypal @AkLeticia ✌️❤️ I wanted to make a difference. I created this page to bring awareness to our litter problem. To show efforts made to combat it and hopefully encourage others to mind their trash and help pitch in. I am not a non profit or a business. All efforts made are on my time, my vehicle, my dime, with the exceptions of the generous donations of supplies received by my community members. I am working on becoming more than just a gal picking up trash. But until then I hope to spread awareness, encourage others and most of all make a difference for us all. If you make an effort please post pics on the page so we can thank you, every effort counts.

Absolutely horrible stuff for our wildlife and environment.
Shout out to who ever called JPD about a guy dumping a mattress. Heard it on the scanner yesterday, I think. . Didn’t listen long enough to hear if they caught him but calling it in is a great step! Thank you! 💪

I am missing a package in North Douglas. Says it was delivered to my door on 7th. It was not. It was a brown padded envelope with these earrings inside. Addressed to Leticia McRae. If you got them , can you please reach out? I will be filling a police report as well, thank you.

This September, NAMI Juneau is partnering with the Juneau School District to offer a Signs of Su***de (SOS) presentation for parents and caregivers.
Students in grades 7–12 will be learning the SOS program in school, and this presentation allows parents, caregivers, and other trusted adults to learn the same language and ACT (Acknowledge, Care, Tell) approach through videos and group discussion.
Through videos and group discussion, we’ll explore the ACT approach and ways trusted adults can support young people, encourage open conversations, and connect them with support when needed.
A light dinner will be provided, and youth activities will be available during the presentation.
