Arnie Weimer isn’t on Facebook, and doesn’t do digital media. He does sit in the cafe almost everyday, and do a sketch or a watercolor. Maybe he’s handed you a portrait of yourself while you sat alone, maybe with friends or family. He’s the painter of the mural we have in the cafe, and a number of installations around Juneau and the country, and we’re lucky to have him as a regular here, documenting the changes around the cafe for the last 13 years.

We’re back!! It took a lot of work and a lot of hands, and we want to thank all of our amazing customers who have supported us over the last 13 years! Year 14 begins today at The Rookery Cafe! Regular service has returned, Monday - Friday, 7 am - 2 pm, Saturday 9 am - 2 pm.
